Sedibeng TVET College-Vanderbijlpark Campus is looking for 4 Hospitality Trainees to be appointed to assist Lecturers with Hospitality related duties.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Hospitality N6 certificate
NC(V) L4 certificate (Hospitality)
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• High standards of hygiene.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Interpersonal skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage training of students in the kitchen during practicals.
• Stock control and inventory (Equipment in the kitchen)
• Responsible for cleanliness of the kitchens, boardroom, and Auditorium
• Reporting malfunctioning equipment in the kitchens
• Prepare ingredients for practical cooking sessions
• Assist lecturers during practical cooking sessions
• Prepare for functions
• Assist with purchasing of ingredients.
• And any other duty allocated.

· Recently certified copy of valid driver’s license (Not longer than six months).
· Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae with at least three work-related references.
· Recently certified copies of Grade 12/NC(V) Level 4 and ID document (Not longer than six months).
· Recently certified copies of all qualifications with transcripts.
Shortlisted candidates will go through the vetting process (Citizenship, Criminal check, and verification of qualifications). In terms of the DPSA directive all shortlisted candidates irrespective of the level shall undergo a pre-assessment test.
NB: applicants are expected to perform practical assessment as part of interview.
