IT AUDIT MANAGER: (ITGC & CYBERSECURITY)
SALARY GROUP: Management

POSITION MISSION
To manage and execute technology audits across ITGC, ICT projects, cybersecurity, networks, infrastructure, OT and other related technology domains.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Internal Auditing or equivalent (NQF 7)
• CISA
• ISACA or IIA or SAICA, etc.
ADDED ADVANTAGE:
• Honours in Internal Audit (NQF8) Internal Auditing or IT or equivalent
• CISSP, CISM, CIA, CEH and Certified Quality Assurance Assessor
EXPERIENCE:
• 8 years IT auditing experience of which minimum 3 years should be on supervisory level
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
• Manage the planning, execution and quality assurance of IT audit engagements, including ICT project reviews, technical and infrastructure reviews, ITGC, cybersecurity and ICT governance audits, in accordance with IIA and ISACA professional standards.
• Drive the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the GIA Technology Assurance roadmap.
• Identify emerging technology risks and propose amendments to the approved audit plan to ensure that GIA responds appropriately and timeously to changes in the organisation’s risk profile.
• Prepare and present clear, evidence-based audit reports that communicate findings, risks, root causes and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor audit delivery against approved plans and provide accurate weekly and monthly progress reports on assigned audit areas, including emerging risks, delays and required corrective actions.
• Manage human, financial and physical resources effectively and in accordance with organisational processes and procedures.
