The 24-month Internship Programme is intended to provide graduates with practical workplace experience relevant to their qualifications. Applicants must be unemployed South African citizens who have not previously participated in an internship programme within any National or Provincial Government Department or State Institution. Failure to disclose previous participation in a government internship programme may result in the immediate termination of the internship contract. Applicants must submit proof of residence issued by the relevant Local Municipality or Traditional Authority. 24-month Internship Programme
GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME: ZOOLOGY REF NO: DSAC/INT/2026/01
STIPEND : R8 174.75 per month
CENTRE : Kimberley
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Zoology, Biology, Ecology, Conservation Biology, or related fields (NQF 7). Honours Degree in Zoology or Biodiversity will be an added advantage. Good analytical, research, data capturing and organisational skills.
DUTIES : Successful interns will receive structured work exposure and training relevant to their field of study, in line with the placement area. Interns are expected to actively participate in workplace activities, projects, and capacity-building initiatives under supervision of experienced professionals.
