MANAGER: INTERNAL CONTROL

Salary: R924 595,51 (Cost to company, plus housing and cell phone allowance)

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer

Requirements:

·       A (3) three-year Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance / business administration

·       Minimum of 4 years’ management experience

·       A minimum of three (3) years’ experiences as Internal auditor/ external auditor / Risk management.

·       Proven experience in internal auditing, internal controls, or risk management roles.

·       Strong understanding of internal control principles, practices, and frameworks

·       Knowledge of auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification will serve as an added advantage

·       Strong Computer literacy and knowledge of financial systems.

·       Valid driver’s licence.

Duties:

·       Develop, implement and monitor Internal control policies, procedures, processes and systems

·       Implement and Maintain Delegations’ framework

·       Facilitate and Coordinate Assurance Services

·       Facilitate, coordinate and prepare Departmental oversight and other related committees

·       Develop, Implement, Monitor and Report on Governance frameworks

·       Develop and Maintain Retention/ Repository system

·       Implement and Maintain the Loss Control system

·       Develop, Implement and Maintain the Fraud Prevention plan
