REF: WTVET 2025/11 Lecturer (PL1) for Primary Agriculture NCV) Level 2-4(Temporary)
SALARY: R270 498 – R351 972 plus 37% in lieu of benefits
DURATION: July – 31 October 2025
SITE: IT and Computer Science Centre (Mahwelereng)
Requirements: Grade 12 or NC (V) Level 4 plus a relevant 3-year Degree/Diploma in Agriculture and Related field plus a professional teaching qualification.1 – 2 years of experience in teaching and learning environment. Teaching experience in a TVET College will be an added advantage. Sound subject knowledge and work-related applications. Excellent communication and command of English (written &verbal) Computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet); must be registered with SACE. Competencies: Good planning, administration, organizing & presentation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities: Teach Soil Science Level 3 and Agribusiness Level 4. Prepare lesson plans and lecture students incompliance with college academic plans and DHET ICASS guidelines, timetable and college quality management systems. Assess students performance and maintain assessment records in compliance with college policies, processes, and procedures. Continuously monitor and analyze students ‘performance and provide critical feedback in an objective and professional manner. Invigilate examinations, mark scripts and ensure timeous submission of student marks. Relate to and support student in a professional manner. Create a conducive classroom environment and ensure efficient classroom management and discipline of students. Manage student attendance and administration of documents. Work collaboratively with student support services for student development.

REMUNERATION: Stipend of R3,500 per month
DURATION: 24-months
REQUIREMENT: NCV Level 4 (ONLY Waterberg TVET College students can apply)

REMUNERATION: Stipend of R5,000 per month
