Qualification & Job Experience:
- Matric/N3.
- Trade Test Certificate - Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
- 3 years Dealership experience in maintenance and repairs of heavy commercial vehicles.

- Knowledge/skills to effect correct repair work.

- Ensure the accuracy and back-up of all relevant documentation including but not limited to job cards e.g. photos, protocols, defect reports, sublet invoices etc.
- Ensure jobs are costed within VST parameters.
- Make sure all sublet invoices are loaded on job cards and forwarded to finance for payment.
- All job cards must be signed off by the Line Manager.
- Ensure information on job card received from workshop include all relevant information e.g. registration number, chassis number, kilometre reading etc.
- Recording service type, e.g. basic, annual etc.
- Record any other faults e.g. brake lights not working, vehicle overheating, etc
- Transferring all relevant information onto job card on computer.
- Carry out credit checks.
- Ensure that job card is allocated to correct account i.e. customer, warranty, maintenance contract.
- Ensure that job cards are signed by Driver/owner or relevant responsible person.
- Raising a sublet order.
- Ensure outwork supplier submit quotation for work to be done.
- Sublet order raised against the job (First copy to outlet supplier, second to costing file and third to the job card).
- Copy of processed invoice and order to be attached to job card.
- Ensure that daily WIP controls are in place and that regular follow ups are done with workshop team leaders to ensure continuous flow of process.
- Ensure job card has been completed as required with all relevant information, i.e. date, work carried out, time started, time finished, total time worked, VST, cause of failure, etc.
- Ensure that owner or relevant person sign acceptance of work and/or parts fitted.
- Ensure job is signed off by relevant Technician, the Team Leader and the Service Manager before closure.
- Enter brief description of work done and any notes made by the Workshop Manager.
- Enter parts used.
- Enter labour according to VST codes.
- Enter outwork.
- In case of breakdowns enter travelling time and call out fee.
- Enter sundries and consumables.
- Print invoice and ensure it is handed to the Workshop Manager to sign off and ensure order numbers are in place.
- Hand over to administrative assistant.
- Upon final confirmation of payment received issue gate pass to driver.
Qualification & Job Experience:
- Matric / N3 or equivalent.
- Computer Skills.
- SAP/GDS Fusion.

Job Objectives:
- The Security Manager will support the implementation of security programs across VGSA sites
Ensures compliance with Volvo Group security policies, directives, requirements, and guidelines to ensure consistency across all sites. - Support VGSA management during the absence of the Regional Security Director.
- Coordinate Loss Prevention activities and secure VG people and assets.
- Report all security matters to the Regional Security Director, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Head of Security APAC & SSA and works closely on all security matters with the Regional Security Director.
- Work diligently on intelligence gathering on potential security threats and evaluate risks that impact the business and people.
- Supports VGSA in Crisis Management.
- Support the Regional Security Director in travel security and response within the region.
- Support in creating awareness of information security among VGSA employees.
- Work closely with all stakeholders to strengthen security governance and security culture.
- Supports Regional Security Director with all security investigations within VGSA The work is primarily performed by, but not limited to;
- Supporting the Regional Security Director in conducting site security surveys/conduct independently as per plan and identifying potential risks at sites proactively.
- Following up on and implementing the recommendations and working with all stakeholders to mitigate risks.
- Liaise with stakeholders and support all security projects at sites.
- In consultation with the Regional Security Director, facilitate appropriate security investment decisions by advising site management, local VGRE, SD&I and project teams on applicable security requirements for construction, renovation, and production-related project.
- Evaluate and ensure that security systems and processes are fit for purpose and operational at sites —Perimeter Protection, Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Security Lighting, etc.
- Evaluate Security services such as guards, alarm monitoring & response,
- Evaluate access control and material movement and ensure compliance with security procedures.
- Raise security awareness across the organisation via Security training and communication.
- Ensure proper governance of security services and deliveries to sites and inform the Regional Security Director.
- Support the Regional Security Director and VGSA Crisis Management team during a crisis, and provide advice protecting the people, property, and other VG interests.
- Support the Regional Security Director in conducting Crisis management training where needed.
- Collaborate with and support the Regional Security Director in all security-related investigations in VGSA.
Qualification & Job Experience:
- Accredited qualifications and/or certifications in security management/loss prevention will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in delivering effective security risk management programs.
- Subject Matter Expert in physical security, people security, crisis management, and investigations.
Key Competencies:
- Knowledge of Information Security will be advantageous.
- Able and willing to travel to all sites within VGSA as required to support security activities.
- Good analytical, reasoning and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS power point, excel, word and other applications.
