HVAC REFRIGERATION MECHANIC
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Refrigeration Trade Test
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- 3 years, post trade test working experience in refrigeration / air conditioning, Cooling Tower, Chillers and general HVAC equipment.
- 3 Years Post qualifying team leader experience, preferably in a service-related industry or similar environment.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
- Execute the HVAC & Refrigeration maintenance plan and achieve YTD, Tactical, Non-tactical, PPM Attainment and Labour utilisation targets for the department.
- Reduce no. of breakdowns
- Conduct inspections on planned work conducted by handyman
- Availability on standby for breakdowns and call outs
- On the job Training and development of handymen
- Carry out daily and weekly site inspections
- Follow up on works orders and ensure monthly maintenance targets are met

24 MONTHS FIXED-TERM CONTRACT
SENIOR ELECTRICIAN
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Electrical Trade Test
- N4 in Electrical Engineering
- 3 Phase Installation Electrician (Wireman)
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- 5 years working as a Maintenance Electrician in a Factory Industry or Hospitality Industry, of which at least 3 years working as a Senior Electrician/ Foreman
- Computer Literate at an Intermediate Level with MS Office Experience
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
- Guide functional areas with overall responsibility for monitoring operational performance, efficiency and effectiveness ensuring stakeholders’ requirements are met.
- Participates in infrastructure maintenance planning sessions.
- Regularly liaises and reports to Electrical Manager, Project Manager and Helpdesk.
- Execute mini projects which include drawing up of scopes of work, guidance of work and workmanship of the Electrical Department’s employees, and sub-contractors, whilst ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with uShaka Marine World Standards.
- Create requisition on JDE (ERP Software), for Purchase Orders to be processed.
- Track and monitor completion of monthly Planned Plant Maintenance Schedules, which is inclusive of statutory requirements. Schedules to be completed monthly, and within planned timeframe and timelines.
- Liaise with Engineering Storeman on a 2-weekly basis to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained within the Engineering Stores.
- Conduct at least 4 random over inspections per month on planned work conducted by Electrical Department’s employees and sub-contractors.
- Management of departmental time and attendance rosters, including shift and standby rosters.
- Oversee and assume responsibility for all Electrical work requiring an Electrical Certificate of Compliance.

EXPENDITURE ACCOUNTANT
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Matric/Grade 12
- 3 years Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Finance
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- 5 years’ experience in an accounting environment, with 3 years’ experience at a supervisory level.
- 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Knowledge of GRAP, MFMA/PFMA and Caseware.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
- Ensure compliance with section 99(2)(b) of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) which stipulates that all payments to creditors must be made within 30 days unless prescribed otherwise, for certain categories of expenditure.
- Review cash book month-end journal entries.
- Review payment packs and supporting documentation.
- Analyse the expenditure performance and analytics to identify risks and opportunities for improvements.
- Maintain the company’s expenditure policy and business processes.
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and efficiency of creditors transactions.
- Address book – creating a refund by capturing name, address, contact numbers and banking details in Masterfile.
- Provide supporting schedules for the preparation of financial management reports and the interim/annual financial statements.
- Provide information requested by Auditors timeously.

6 MONTHS FIXED-TERM CONTRACT
POSITION: CIVIL SUPERVISOR
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Matric/Grade 12
- N3 in any Civils field of study
- Trade Test in a field within the Construction Sector
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- 5 years’ post trade tested working experience in the Civils field, with at least 3 years as a supervisor or foreman, managing a team of Artisan’s and Handymen.
- Computer Literate at an Intermediate Level with MS Office Experience.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:
- Carry out weekly site inspections.
- Follow up on works orders and ensure monthly maintenance targets are met.
- Conduct at least 5 random over inspections per month on planned work conducted by Civil Department’s employees and sub-contractors.
- Update engineering library on an on-going basis to keep records up to date
- Regularly liaises with and reports to Electrical and Civils Manager, Project Manager and Helpdesk.
- Attend weekly meetings with R&M Supervisors.
- Liaise with Engineering Storeman on a 2-weekly basis to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained within the Engineering Stores.
- Conduct Annual Building Structural and Statutory inspections
- Management of departmental time and attendance.
