Minimum requirements
- Three-year (3) Diploma in Procurement/ supply chain management.
- Five years (5) experience in Public Procurement/Buying.
- Knowledge Procurement laws, regulations and best practices including keeping abreast of new developments and changes.
- Experience in Management of large and complex procurement processes.
- Knowledge of Preferential procurement compliance.
- Experience in Supplier management, negotiation, and contract management.
- Proven Appropiate Computer Skills.
- Knowledge of ITS system will be an added advantage.

As a member of the Web Management Team the incumbent will be required to create, maintain, update and support university websites. Create templates with WordPress and custom post types using HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. Ensure content is SEO-friendly, improving indexing and website visibility on search engines using SEO Tools.
Produce webpages that follow web best practices and standards, adopting a mobile-first approach and responsive web development. Provide technical and marketing reports on websites to measure performance. Create mailers and web pages to support digital campaigns.
The Incumbent will report to Webmaster Specialist.
Minimum requirements
- A relevant three-year tertiary qualification in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience in website design and development, with a focus on PHP and .NET.
- Two years in a higher education institution, research or corporate communications environment and management and supervisory experience as a webmaster or similar position is essential
- Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and experience with .NET.
- Demonstrated experience with Content Management Systems, Page Builders, working with custom post types, along with a foundational understanding of theme and plugin development in WordPress.
- Basic image editing skills using tools like Photoshop, Gimp or Affinity Photo.
- Basic knowledge of Linux server management.
May preferably also have knowledge of the following
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) & Design Principles.
- Familiarity with MVC Design Pattern and Web Application Frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control system such as Git.
