WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Business partner key stakeholders from all functions to drive overhead forecasting and savings initiatives.
- Drive the bottom -up IBP process and monthly forecasting.
- Take the lead on all overhead savings project and related business cases.
- Work with key stakeholders on the monthly forecast and accruals, ensuring robust & accurate forecast.
- Analyse the actual overhead results vs the forecast and ensure corrective actions to drive minimal variances.
- Manage all journals, posting, accruals relating to overheads actuals and forecast.
- Provide leadership, drive and own continuous business improvement and behaviour change as growth enabler to create competitive advantage.
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance (professional qualification in accounting e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CIA, CPA etc is advantageous)
- 2-3 years working experience in Finance and preferably experience in roles
covering financial analysis. - Strong analytical capabilities with bias to drive action
- Ability to identify existing and potential risks and development of mitigation plans.

CATEGORY/FUNCTION INTRODUCTION
Customer Development (CD) is what we call our Sales organization at Unilever. Customer Development works closely with our customers to pioneer new products, build categories, and best deploy best-in-class retail and shopper capabilities.
JOB PURPOSE
The role of this is to drive shopper-based thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders. This includes execution of the shopper component of brand marketing/customer and category plans.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
The Shopper Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Brand team and agencies as well as the Channel & Category, E-Commerce and Trade Category Teams. Other key relationships will be with the Customer Management team (for Retailer engagement) and Unilever Field Sales (for execution) to effectively deliver activations, innovations and customer collaborations.
- Drive shopper thought leadership that increases, develops and sustains Unilever and Category growth opportunities.
- Drive Shopper Mission and Shopper/Channel understanding in all plans, activations, and innovations that deliver long-term consumer behaviour change, incremental sales and build brand equity.
- Leads execution of shopper-based plans that are rooted in shopper and consumer insights aligned to brand/category objectives.
- Work closely with key internal / external stakeholders to execute shopper marketing activities against key objectives.
- Adopt, Adapt and implement Global Best Practice of point of sale (POS) material to deliver best in class POS that delivers value for the retailer, is shopper based and drives incremental sales.
- Ensure “best in class” executional excellence of Shopper Marketing Plans through clear briefs to internal and external executional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead capital expenditure planning and governance, ensuring adherence to accounting policies, and driving net productivity.
- Challenge and influence capex decisions to ensure financial prudence and strategic alignment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete all learnership requirements as stipulated by Unilever, including but limited to training attendance, assessments completion, project completion, logbook completion and presentations as needed
- The Industrial Engineer role is critical to the development of our factories to World Class, which means zero defects, zero waste and zero losses.
- She/he will apply extensively the full range of Focused and Quality Improvement methods and tools to counter losses identified in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost Deployment, Customer Service and Logistics. The Cost Deployment pillar will be populated with data built up through application of the Managing Manufacturing Performance Code, which is key to ensuring focus on key losses.
- Working directly with the line crews daily. The Industrial Engineer also acts as the technical trainer for line teams and provides coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of countermeasures. Validation of all process improvements and the establishment of revised basic conditions on the line. A core deliverable is to eliminate losses and wastes and increase the stability of the line to support the transition of traditional line teams to semi-autonomous teams
- Follow SOP/OPL/Kaizen procedures as needed within the operation assigned to
- Conform to all site rules governing safety of self and others, quality and code of business principles.
- Apply and follow procedure of Problem-solving tools
- Factory/site data integrity verification
- Weekly and monthly site performance (OEE, PVA, Tags, OR) reporting.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Completed degree or National Diploma in Industrial Engineering
