Key performance areas/Core functions:
  • Marking of test and examination scripts
  • Collection of scripts
  • Returning of scripts on or before due dates
  • Treating information confidential.
 
Minimum requirements:
  1. Academic qualifications:
  • Must have an LLM degree.
 
  1. Experience:
  • Formal exposure in any Law -related environment
 
  1. Competencies/ Attributes
  2. Excellent communication skills
  3. Flexibility about work environment
  4. Openness to training and skills development
  5. Work comfortably with people from diverse backgrounds
  6. Possess good organizational skills and complete work in a timely manner.

Critical Performance Areas
  • Teaching in SP/FET Technology
  • Involved in Teaching Practice activities.
  • Responsible for administrative tasks relating to the learning programmes of the Department.
 
Minimum Requirements

  1. Academic qualifications:
  2. Masters/M.Ed. specializing in Technology subjects.
 
  1. Experience:    
  2. 3 years’ experience as a lecture in Higher Institution
 
  1. Registration with professional body (if applicable):
  2. Registered with SACE

The Department of Technology and Vocational Education has X2 part-time Lecturers positions available at Soshanguve North Campus, the posts as follows: 
  • Academic literacy (ALY105P) 1 post and
  • Academic literacy (ALY105D and ALY105X)1 post
 
Critical Performance Areas
  • Facilitate Writing classes for Education students in the B Ed SP/FET, GET and Diploma ACET programs.
  • Preparation of material for students.
  • Supervise and assist students during the facilitation of the Writing Classes and conduct facilitation sessions.
  • Give assignments, mark them, and enter the marks on the ITS
  • Calculate students’ predicates and enter them on the ITS
 
Minimum Requirements
  1. Academic qualifications:
  2. A Master’s Degree as an English Practitioner
 
  1. Experience:    
  2. 3 Year experience in teaching English language subject
  3. A related educational qualification would be a strong recommendation.
  4. Skills in Computer application for administration and facilitation purposes
  5. Skills in facilitation dynamics
  6. Knowledge of Writing as a process
  7. Skills in working with students individually and in teams.
  8. Knowledge of teaching strategies and technologies
