Critical Performance Areas
- Lecturing: Preparing and conducting lectures. Employ creative and interactive teaching methods to foster student engagement and learning.
- Use of Teaching Technology: Incorporate institutional digital teaching platforms and tools into teaching practices.
- Assessment: Design and mark tests and assignments aligning with module-specific learning outcomes.

- At least two years of industry or teaching experience within the Interior Design field.

- Proficiency in working on online learning management systems. Advanced Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification.

Experience:
• 3 years of teaching experience in Higher Education teaching Education related modules and/or 3 years Industry experience.
• Experience and competence in the use of technology to manage and teach online classes is highly recommended.

Academic qualifications:
- A PhD degree in Mathematics/Applied mathematics or equivalent qualification with an undergraduate qualification in Mathematics/Applied mathematics.
Experience:
- Three (3) years relevant experience at Lecturer level at an institution of higher learning.
- The candidate should have a proven track record of research, publication and M and D student leadership.
- Evidence of participation at local and international conferences will be an added advantage.
Knowledge and skills:
- Good communication and organizational skills.
