Minimum Requirements (Qualification):
- Currently registered as an MA (Counselling Psychology) student at a recognized University

- Be responsible for administrative tasks related to teaching and learning in the Department of People Management and Development.
- Organise Conferences, Seminars, Symposiums;
- Day-to-day management of teaching programmes,
- Involvement in any teaching and learning activity as may be reasonably assigned to him /her by the Head of Department.
- Participate in the development of study guides and new curricula in line with HEQF structures.
- Involvement in departmental or individual community projects.
- Participating in departmental, subject and industry liaison meetings.
- General administration such as capturing test and assignment marks, uploading documents on myTUTor.
- Student consultation.
Minimum Requirements
- A relevant Master's Degree (NQF level 9) in Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development/Employment relations/Organisational leadership or Development/Office Management & Technology or Administrative Information Management/Business Management/M-Com in Entrepreneurship/Master of Entrepreneurship.
- Three years of lecturing/research experience in a higher educational institution will be required, and/or industry-related experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other computer programs.
- Full proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
- Completion of a TUT License to Teach programme will be compulsory.
- Registration with a relevant professional body is recommended; if not registered with a professional body, you will be required to register within 6 months of accepting the offer
- A driver's license is required for the WIL (Work-Integrated Learning) subject in Administration Information Management (IAX316D).

Critical Performance Areas
- Preparing and conducting lectures: Deliver high-quality lectures tailored to various skill levels in the allocated modules.
- General Administration: Manage administrative responsibilities, such as compiling learning and updating study guides, uploading module content on myTUTor and assessment marks on ITS, and keeping student records up to date. Maintain up-to-date subject files for each subject taught.
- Assessment: Design and mark tests, assignments, and projects, aligning with module-specific learning outcomes. Ensuring all allocated subjects adhere to the assessment structure and time frames (submission of marks, moderators, and other related processes).
- Departmental Participation: Contribute to departmental and subject-specific meetings, bringing industry and academic insights to discussions.
- Advanced Presentation Skills: Employ creative and interactive teaching methods to foster student engagement and learning.
- Proven Ability to use Teaching Technology: Incorporate modern teaching platforms (e.g., myTUTor), design software, and digital tools into teaching practices.
- Implementing the faculty’s teaching and learning strategy with evidence.
- Student Consultation: Provide weekly academic support during consultation hours, offering mentorship and guidance tailored to individual student needs.
Minimum Requirements
1. Academic qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9) in Business Management, Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. Applicants must have a relevant foundational degree or diploma in Business Management, Business Administration, or Entrepreneurship.
2. Experience:
- Three years of teaching experience at a tertiary institution and/or three years of relevant industry-related experience will be required.
- For Entrepreneurship-related subjects, at least three years of experience in business coaching & mentorship.
- For Research Supervision, proven track record of supervising master's and doctorate students to completion.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other teaching and learning technology software.
- Full proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
- Completing a TUT License to Teach programme will be compulsory once appointed.
- Being a Member of a professional body will be an added advantage.

The Faculty of Management Sciences requires the services of part-time lecturers for day, evening, and Saturday classes in the Department of People Management and Development.
Critical Performance Areas
a. Preparing and conducting lectures and practicals.
b. Setting and marking of all assessments.
c. General administration duties such as capturing test and assignment marks on ITS.
d. Uploading module content on myTUTor.
e. Participating in departmental meetings and subject meetings.
f. Advanced presentation skills.
g. Proven ability in using teaching technology.
h. Student consultation.
Minimum Requirements
a. Master's (NQF level 9) or Doctorate Degree (NQF level 10) relating to the field of study as stated below.
b. For Diploma modules in Human Resource Management:
• A minimum of a Master's degree (NQF level 9) is required in the field of Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development/Labour Relations.
c. For Advanced/Postgraduate modules in Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development/Labour Relations:
• A minimum of a Master's degree (NQF level 9) is required in the field of Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development/Labour Relations.
d. Experience
• Study record with major subjects in the above fields of study.
• Three years of relevant teaching experience at a tertiary institution will be required.
• Industry-related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other TUT-related software/computer programs.
• Full proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
• Completion of a TUT Institutional and Academic Induction Programme is compulsory.
e. Registration with a professional body (if applicable):
• Being a member of a professional body will be an added advantage.
