SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (SCM) OFFICER
(Salary range: R475 959.00 All inclusive)

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Officer will be responsible to administer all the transactions in the Supply Chain Business Unit, to manage the organisational assets, request for quotations for TEDA and to administer all tender documents throughout the tender process.
Minimum Requirements:
• A National Diploma or equivalent in Supply Chain or Public Management or a related field.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in Supply Chain Management.

Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for:
• Implement and administer all Supply Chain Management processes in compliance with MFMA, SCM Regulations, and approved municipal policies.
• Execute demand, acquisition, logistics, disposal, and contract management functions to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
• Prepare procurement plans, bid documentation, evaluation reports, and support Bid Committees in accordance with prescribed procedures.
• Manage supplier administration, contract compliance, and performance monitoring.
• Administer inventory, assets, and stores control, including safeguarding and disposal processes.
• Maintain accurate SCM records and always ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Identify SCM risks and implement controls to support clean audit outcomes.
• Provide SCM advice and support to departments and relevant stakeholders.
• Compile statutory and management reports as required.

The Specialist Investment Facilitation will be responsible to facilitate, coordinate, and support investment projects from pre-investment through to implementation by providing a single point of contact for investors, expediting regulatory processes, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring the successful conversion of investment leads into implemented projects that contribute to economic growth, job creation, and sector development.
Minimum Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Development Studies/Commerce/Project Management/Urban Planning or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in Investment Facilitation/ Economic Development/ /Project Management, or a related field.
Added Advantages:
• A Post Graduate Degree in Economics/Development Studies/Commerce/Project Management/Urban Planning or a related field.

• Support investors with regulatory compliance, permits, licenses, land access, and utility connections.
• Build and maintain relationships with government departments, agencies, utilities, SOEs, and private-sector partners.
• Track and manage the investment pipeline, ensuring accurate project status updates.

The Specialist Information Communication and Technology (ICT) will be responsible to provide daily IT support to all TEDA staff, board members, all systems and applications, the LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network) to ensure that 99% uptime is achieved for TEDA to operate.
Minimum Requirements:
• A three (3) year National Diploma in IT or related field or
• A+, N+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) qualifications.
• At least three (3) years’ experience as Desktop Support Technician or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for:
• Maintain LAN/WAN, providing end-user support, supporting payroll and financial systems, and managing user access and VOIP services.
• Responding promptly to IT requests, minimise downtime, communicate effectively with users at all levels.
• Diagnose issues, evaluate impact, implement effective solutions with minimal business disruption.
• Make informed decisions on system interventions, hardware replacements and support priorities within approved parameters.
• Plan daily and monthly IT activities; contribute to medium-term infrastructure and network planning.
• Maintain asset registers, licensing compliance, access controls and IT records.

The Specialist Export Development and Promotion will be responsible to promote the exports of goods and services manufactured and produced within the City of Tshwane as well as to support the development of existing and potential exporters based within the city.
Minimum Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Management, International Relations or Political Science, Public
Administration and LLB
• At least 2- 4 years’ experience in Trade Relations, International Trade Relations, and Economic Development experience with a strong focus on trade, export promotion and development field.

Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for:
• Drafting analysis of Tshwane trade environment (to ensure up to date databases of Tshwane exporters & potential exporters, volumes of exports, export sectors, export destinations, export assistance required by companies) continuously.
• Conducting research on market intelligence to exporters and market specific information sessions
• Coordinating export capacity building programmes to exporters and potential exporters through training, workshops and seminars on global export passport, market access, standards acceptable in international markets, product development, and participation in exhibitions and finance access in the context of trade.
• Facilitate export incentives and other incentives for Tshwane exporters.
• Initiate, facilitate and participate in international & local exhibitions, trade fairs, outward and inward missions to promote Tshwane exports and attract investment into Tshwane.
• Assisting in profiling and promoting Tshwane exporters.
• Coordinating quarterly theme-specific information dissemination workshops and networking events for exporter community e.g. how to overcome existing challenges for exporting, how to export to a specific country.
• Participating in relevant local and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and symposiums.
• Liaising with relevant stakeholders internal and external.
