Reports to: Head: Engineering
Nature of employment: 5 Year fixed term, renewable based on project lifecycle

The purpose of this position is, but not limited to, ensure:
• Execution of the project engineering function in accordance with the TCTA’s project implementation methodology
• Manage the engineering deliverables within the project objectives.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The key performance areas of the role in focus, are:
1. Participate in the procurement of professional services and construction’ contracts
2. Responsible for the management of engineering function in the professional services and construction contracts
3. Input management of engineering aspects and integration of other related disciplines
4. Management of project engineering risks within the EPWR framework
5. Maintain and develop internal and external liaison
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• B Sc/ B Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA
• 7 years experience in implementation of large-scale bulk raw water engineering project
• 3 years must be at supervisory level and have included the management of associated contracts and budgets.
