Job description
SLA Management
- Adherence to SLA for internal/external customers
- Ensure compliance of calls logged against the call logging process

Network Operations
Monitoring
· Production systems, Databases and services ea. Linux, Windows, SQL Databases, Oracle

· Environmental monitoring in network rooms and call center ea. Aircons, Flood detection, smoke and fire
· Daily physical checks of all the equipment in the server room

Incident Reporting
· Escalate incidents to the necessary resources for resolution
· Consistent feedback and follow-ups on outstanding incidents logged till resolution
· Interact with Infrastructure (2nd line support) on system\network outages
· Interact with Facilities on aircon condenser and electricity outages
· 3rd party vendor fault logging
Communications
· Communicate outages to affected staff as necessary
· Communicate Maintenance on various systems to business/system owners and exco members
End-User-Support
· 1st line End User support after hours and weekends

Quality

· Manage an effective preventative maintenance plan, pertaining specifically to the radio frequency network.

· Manage an effective inventory control system, relating specifically to the various components of the radio frequency network.
· Manage configuration control and engineering change procedures and documentation.
