Responsibilities
- Operational Support – Provide specialist support to the shift-based teams during operations. Where requested assist as a functional expert in problem solving.
- Running Repairs – Partake in carrying out repairs on plant equipment
- Problem Solving – Where problems have occurred during routine activities, apply the correct problem-solving approach to resolve problems.
- Planned Maintenance – Take part in maintenance planning meetings, contributing suggestions and clarifying work required
- Housekeeping & Safety – Operate in a safe manner at all times, identify and highlight unsafe work practices so that these may be corrected
- Ensure Plant availability of >95% at all times
- Ensure all compliance standards are met
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Core knowledge – Maintenance Systems, Engineering standards, Qualified Fitter
- Key foundational competencies:
- Academic – Minimum requirement is NTC3, with matric maths and science, trade test, Analytical skills, Problem solving, high numeracy skills
- Leadership - Owning it!, Driving long-term results, Staying a step-ahead.
- Personal Effectiveness – Effective communication, Interpersonal skills, Integrity, Creativity, Continuous learning

- Prior experience working within a dynamic brand team, recognised as a team player capable of building relationships quickly and exciting others with your natural passion for brands
- Relevant tertiary qualification is recommended
Key attributes and competencies
- Well rounded consumer goods experience spanning Marketing and preferably Customer roles
- Consumer obsession and insights driven whether or not this is an area you have worked in before, you will have a thirst for understanding how consumers operate within your category and use that to drive strategy and decision making
- Strategic savviness and financial acumen with the ability to shape a plan to grow your category, drive its execution, and understand the trade offs involved in pulling various levers
- Retail channel know how a robust understanding of both modern and general trade
