IDP COORDINATOR (RE-ADVERT)
SALARY: 0226 994 pa. (Excluding Benefits) 
• Task Grade 10.1
 
REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 and National Diploma/B degree in Developmental Studies or equivalent qualification, two to three years' relevant experience. Knowledge of urban and rural development. Basic research, data analysis and report writing skills. Computer literacy. Communication and Interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and administer the development and implementation of IDP process plan. Perform IDP review with stakeholders. Monitor compliance in respect to the adopted reporting structure. Handle all queries related to IDP.


 
 
INSPECTOR: LAND USE AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES
SALARY: R226 944 pa. (Excluding Benefits) 
Task Grade 10.1
 
REQUIREMENTS: Recognised three years Diploma or Degree in town and regional planning, two to three, years relevant experience In town planning, good interpersonal relations, good communication skills, computer literacy , good knowledge of law enforcement of municipal town planning By-laws will be highly recommended, Registration with SACPLAN will add as an advantage and EB valid driver’s license. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Investigating reported problems relating to illegal usage of land and identified contraventions with the existing land use policies, Conducting general inspections to identify trend such as growth in number of home enterprises, informal trading and any other land use management related activities, Assisting with preparation of applications for business licenses and business rights on farm portions, Handling, examining and attending to inquiries from the public concerning contravention of town planning policy matters, Preparation and examination of Scheme Clause, Map 3's, rezoning and removal of restrictive title conditions and building line relaxations, Undertaking research, data capturing and compiling statistics relevant to the compilation of the IDP and Spatial Development Framework and maintain property files.
 
 
 
 
 
CORPORATE SERVICES
 
CHIEF HRM OFFICER (RE-ADVERT)
SALARY: R356, 115 pa. (Excluding Benefits) 
Task Grada13.1
 
REQUIREMENTS:Grade 12, three year Diploma in Human Resources Management/Industrial Relations/ Labour Relations/Law or equivalent qualification. Three years' experience in Human Resources environment and sound knowledge of Labour Relations, Recruitment, Employment Equity, Skills Development and other recruitment legislations is essential. Good Interpersonal communication skills and Computer skills. Ability to interpret HR policies and legislations. Good computer skills. Must be able to work independently. Valid driver's license. 
 
Key Responsibilities: Execute the internal and external recruitment and selection of personnel, review and advice the municipality on organisational structure in order to meet the goals of the council. Facilitation of job descriptions. Develop and review policies against best practice, legislative requirement, and review when necessary. Communicate applicable policies and procedures to the relevant stakeholders and ensure implementation of council's employment equity plan. Provide guidance to management on grievances-disciplinary and dispute procedures. Compilation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual statistical reports in terms of vacancies, appointment, promotions, cases, findings and resolved • cases. Handle all labour relation issues affecting the municipality.
 
 
 
 
 
TECHNICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT
 
TECHNICIAN: PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT (RE-ADVERT)
SALARY: R316, 302 pa. (Excluding Benefits) Task trade 121
 
REQUIREMENTS:  Grade 12, National Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering. Project management skills will serve as a strong recommendation. Must have minimum of three years 'project design experience, and at least be registered candidate technician/technologist with ECSA and valid code EC1 driver’s licence. 
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Ensuring project compliance • with all. applicable legislation, policies and conditions applicable to MIG. Conducting project performance and cash flows reviews. Liaising with the Provincial and the Senior MIG Manager as well as other line function departments through formal regular evaluation/ progress meetings and on an ad hoc basis as instructed by the PMU Manager. Submitting monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, annual and Adhoc reports to COGTA as determined in applicable instructed by the PMU Manager. Inspection of projects on sites for progress and quality assurance. Implementation of the Expanded Public Works Programme and reporting on EPWP compilation of MIG expenditure, reports and PMU monthly reports.
 
 


SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
 
COORDINATOR SECURITY SERVICES (RE-ADVERT)
SALARY: R226 994 pa. (Excluding Benefits)
Task Grade 10.1 
 
REQUIREMENTS:Grade 12, National Diploma in security services / Investigation field or any relevant qualification. Minimum of three years' experience in criminal investigation. Certificate/qualification in policing will be added advantage. 3 years' supervisory experience. No criminal record, Computer literacy and code EB driver's license. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and coordinate daily deployment of security officers to municipal sites, manage contracts with private security services to ensure compliance, coordinate all interdepartmental security operations with stakeholders, prepare monthly reports, conduct daily inspections, Investigate security breaches with Management and advise Council on issues of security as well as conducting of prevention operations. Monitoring of Surveillance cameras and Access Control, investigation of security breaches and reporting and conduct security awareness.
 
 
 
 
 
CHIEF ADMIN OFFICER HOUSING
SALARY: R356,115 pa. (Excluding Benefits) 
Task Grade 13.1
 
REQUIREMENTS:Grade 12, three year Diploma in Developmental Studies or equivalent qualification and two to three years relevant experience, valid driver's license and must be computer literate.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Co-ordinates procedures related to the administrative' applications pertaining to housing, attends to queries/ complaints associated with the allocation of housing and sites from the general public/ officials, extract reports from the system and submit to users for perusal, analysis and comment, prepare reports and statistic data as when required, Good computer skills; Must be able to work independently, must interact and engage with external stakeholders on housing matters.
