Minimum Requirements
  • Three (3) year (Science or Engineering qualification) or relevant certification (e.g. ICASA SA), Business/Economic/Finance/Management
  • Three (3) years’ experience in project management and/or administration /financial management
  • Communication Skills (written & verbal)
  • Agility in respond to urgent organizational requirements

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the investment/portfolio budgets and expenditure are effectively updated and monitored, so that all people in the unit have updated information with regards to the budget
  • Draft, capture, track, monitor and report on Unit’s operational budget (Reconciliation with BI System) to the Head.
  • Ensure that Internal and external customers are aware of units offerings, mandate and keep abreast with the unit’s focus areas
  • Attend to cases on the CRM system and allocate to the correct Portfolio/Programme Manager within 48 hours. Ensure that progress on cases are updated and resolved appropriately. Report outstanding cases to the relevant Heads and Executives on a weekly basis.
  • Enable the unit to engage effectively with Stakeholders and client. Arrange workshops with stakeholders as and when required.
  • Keep a register from all Stakeholders on the impact achieved from TIA investments. (Demographic analysis, Geographic analysis, PDI, Women, Youth)
  • Perform initial pre-screening evaluations on new applications and issue a feedback report with recommended actions to the Head of the Business Unit for review.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with Internal and External Stakeholders as required, and also ensure all travel arrangements are coordinated, verified and finalized. This includes external experts.
  • Accompany portfolio/programme managers to on-site meetings to assist with minute taking and follow-up on matters arising.
  • Ensure proper records management for the Business Unit in compliance with the TIA file plan and records management policy and procedures.
  • Collate reports of external experts and present to the Portfolio of Programme Manager, or Unit Head as required.
  • Prepare disbursement packs for sign-off. Ensure that disbursements take place in specified timeframes.
  • Update investments dashboards with the statement of progress during the Investment review phase
  • Collect and collate information to compile relevant reports (Coordination and completion of Unit monthly reports)

Job Purpose: To grow the TIA business through sound market intelligence, establishment and leveraging of high-yielding funding, industry and market partnerships and initiatives investment opportunities and a visible profile for the organization nationally and internationally.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology, Commercial and/or Business related qualification or equivalent.
  • Honours Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology, Commercial and/or Business related or Master’s will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development in any industry., more that 5 years will be ideal
  • Experience and Understating of the Funding industry and landscape
  • Sound understanding of PFMA and public service processes.
  • Communication skills, salesmanship / deal making.
  • Knowledge of Technology innovation trends in various critical industry sectors.
  • Knowledge of policy and strategy development.
 
Duties and Responsibilities   
Duties:
  • Prepare business area budget and forecast based on operational requirements.
  • Seek additional investment income and diversify revenue for TIA through the development and exploitation of new opportunities.
  • Develop a business growth initiatives strategy for TIA.
  • Successfully establish new business relationships in support of business growth through partnerships.
  • Maintain personal and professional networks and participate in professional organisations in the NSI space in order to grow the business by leveraging established networks.
  • Identify investment, pre-commercialisation and innovation enabling trends by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements.
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions for TIA by studying integration of new partnerships with company strategies and operations; examining the risks and potential.
  • Scout and identify high-yielding partnership opportunities, develop Business Cases, develop and manage plans to leverage the opportunities.
  • Establish a Stakeholder Management Plan to integrate opportunities for increased leverage by internal Business Units.
  • Leads the participation and presentation of TIA at investment conferences and roundtable discussions.

Purpose of the Position:
To develop, design and drive graphic and digital designs across the organisation from concept to implementation based on the overall layout and production brief. The successful incumbent must be able to digitise designs.
 
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
  • Recognised NQF (Level 5) qualification in Graphic Design.
  • Degree advantageous
 
Experience
  • Four (4) years’ experience in graphic design
  • Digital design experience is a must
  • Experience in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Additional digital knowledge (social media, HTML knowledge) – advantageous
  • Good understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
 
Internal Processes
  • Act as brand custodian to ensure all material is aligned to Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines and continuously provide constructive suggestions to improve. 
  • Bringing the brief and concept to life based on the client’s needs and vision.
  • Be responsible for conceptualisation and implementation of design material from concept to completion, including but not limited to marketing materials such as brochures, banners, presentations, print ads, posters, social media material, digital and online materials, newsletters, training manuals, emailers etc,
  • Create digital design assets for web, mobile apps, ad campaigns and social media platforms
  • Source printing quotations and see all processes through to distribution if required.
  • Ensuring all artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before being sent to press/production.
  • Knowledge of creating and posting content on social media.
  • Continuous research skills to keep abreast of web trends and international design practices.
  • Liaise with printers to ensure correct format where necessary.
  • Preparing mock-ups and presenting to clients before deciding on a final design/concept.
  • Making sure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before being sent to press and production facilities.
  • Maintain records in accordance with records management policy.
  • Liaise with internal clients, imagery companies, agencies, production, facility, and reproduction houses.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
