The successful incumbent will report to the Senior Inspector: Admin and Systems
Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) ●At least 2 years’ experience of telephonic/reception/ control room/ call centre ● Willing to sign confidentiality agreement.
Other Requirements: Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) ●Demonstrate ability to function under work pressure ● Well-developed interpersonal skills● Good telephone etiquette ● Ability to function effectively within a team and independently ● Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in two of the three Western Cape official languages (Afrikaans, English, Xhosa) ● Must be prepared to work shifts including night shift● Must be prepared to work overtime on short notice ● Attention to detail ●Accurately collate information ●Able to keep confidentiality.
Responsibilities: Perform Control Room operations (Call taking inbound/ outbound and radio coms) ● Perform CCTV/ LPR monitoring٠Monitor alarm systems٠Activate emergency services including Fire, Disaster, Traffic SAPS in accordance of the Incident Management System● Render after-hours complaints service to the broader community٠Disseminate information to relevant disciplines and departments.

Salary: R129 149.04 – R167 657.40 (subject to evaluation) Plus benefits
