Purpose of the job

Qualifications and Experience

Experience: 6 - 7 years’ experience in the ICT field, including IT Governance, IT Planning, systems development/procurement, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of integrated solutions across multiple hardware and software platforms with leadership, management, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation. Experience should include the following: System Development Lifecycle, Application Lifecycle Management experience including exposure to Agile methodology, API, Systems integration, 6 –7 years’ experience in ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Desktop / ArcGIS Pro, Python, HTML and JavaScript. ArcGIS Enterprise (Server), Enterprise geodatabases, FME (Feature manipulation engine), Java & MapXtreme (Migration to ArcGIS), Oracle Database, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL as an added advantage.
Technical Competencies Description
Solid understanding of computer science concepts including algorithms, data structures, operating systems and databases. ICT Governance and Compliance Governance e.g. COBIT and ITIL. Ability to design test plans according to the software requirements specification. Extensive knowledge of the software development processes and the GIS technologies. Extensive knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of software requirements specifications. Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile Methodologies (Feature-Driven Development, Test-Driven Development, Scrum, Extreme Programming). Extensive background in coding. Extensive knowledge of software testing techniques and tools. IT Quality Management e.g. ISO9001 and CMMI IT Security ICT Standards COTS (Commercial of the Shelf) Products OSS (Open Source Software). • Ensure Implementation of Benefit Administration and alignment with applicable legislation, policies and procedures
• Partake in Benefit Surveys, to benchmark SITA benefit
• Implement Benefit Administration and processing to ensure timely delivery of benefit programme
• Coordinate annual reviews of employee benefits to ensure alignment to changes on benefit for all SITA employees

Purpose of the job
To lead and manage the implementation of IT systems for the DOD and ensure that the designs, plans and technical solutions are aligned to the client’s business requirements, furthermore this role should ensure secure and resilient delivery of all Network Architecture and Solutions Design services in accordance with various service level commitments, as well as provide advice and assist with design estimation, system implementation and deployment.

Qualifications and Experience

ITILv3/TOGAF 9/Certification or any other industry equivalent certification, valid CCIE certification and or valid CCNP certificate and have passed the CCIE Written Exam will be an added advantage.
Experience: 8 -9 years in the provision of highly complex ICT solutions, within a Large Enterprise, Service Provider, or Public Sector environment. Candidates with Network Solutions Architecture experience and managerial experience will have a definite advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience: 6-7 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), including solution development, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation.
