Purpose of the job 
To job is responsible for the proactive monitoring of Database Management Systems in the IBM Mainframe environment. The incumbent will also be responsible to maintain and support various database instances to ensure continuous service to the client. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas

Qualifications and Experience

Experience: 7 – 10 years practical work experience of Database Administration on the IBM mainframe platform (Natural ADABAS environment), with management /supervisory responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organization

Key Responsibility Area 
  • Provide Legal advice and recommendations to Line Management to minimize and mitigate foreseeable lawsuits against the SITA 
  • Implement legal structures and practices through a proactive approach and maintain high legal service standards to ensure regulation and compliance 
  • Support all SITA’s divisions within the structures by providing accurate legal advice and ensure that SITA is legally protected in courts and other forums.

Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: 3-year National Diploma/LLB degree - Admitted as attorney or advocate. 
Registration with a Professional Body: Legal Practice Council (LPC).

Purpose of the job 
To manage SITA internal/external project(s) following the SITA project management methodology, within a defined service/product/customer portfolio under the supervision of a Programme Manager/PMO Manager/Line Manager. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
INITIATION PROJECT - Effectively applies project management principles to initiate and plan the project. 
MANAGE PRODUCT DELIVERY - Manage product delivery to ensure successful delivery of the project. 
PROJECT CONTROL - Monitor and Control project activities to ensure successful delivery of the project objectives within budget, scope, time and quality according to plan 
PROJECT CONTROL-FINANCE - Consolidate, Monitor and control project costs and revenue to ensure delivery of the project within budget and profitability guidelines 
PROJECT CONTROL-RISK - Monitor and Control project risks and issues; and 
PROJECT CLOSURE - Close Project according to company policy. 
 
Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: 3 Year National Diploma / Degree in Business Management/ Project management / Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent (at least NQF Level 6). 
Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Prince 2 Practitioner Certification and/or Agile PM Practitioner will be an added advantage. 
Experience: A minimum of 5 – 6 years working experience, including: 
• At least 3 years Project coordination and or project management experience, 
• At least 3 years working experience in an IT environment and 
• At least 3 years in public sector IT environment. 
 
Technical Competencies Description 
Public sector / Government organization; Information Technology management; ICT Services; System Engineering methods and Governance; Project Management Office (PMO) Management; Project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile PM and Prince 2); PPM Governance. Computer Literacy: SITA Business Planning system (BPS), 
Oracle ERP; Project Schedule Management (PSM); Oracle Time & Labour(OTL); MS Office; MS Projects.

Purpose of the job 
To provide PMO/project/programme administrative support services throughout the programme/project/service life cycle. 
 
Key Responsibility Area 
  • Provide Project Office Coordination and support in order to ensure the smooth running of the project. 
  • Assist with administrative project activities, including meeting arrangements risk management updates, issue management updates and quality control. 
  • Project documentation configuration support. 
  • Provide administrative support the PM to ensure the execution of the project against the prescribed SITA project management methodology. 
  • Monitor the projects financial expenditure and revenue. 
 
Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: Matric and a Certificate in Project management/ or Office Administration (NQF level 4). 
Certification: Prince 2 Foundation and/or CAPM Certification and/or Agile PM Foundation will be advantageous. 
Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years' working experience in a project/program management environment, including 1 year project administration and support. 
 
Technical Competencies Description
