Purpose of the job 
To lead and direct the System Testing section and to manage or execute the system testing services adopted standards, processes and procedures. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
  • Lead, manage, and implement strategies manage the section to ensure effective and efficient operations that all resources are utilized optimally. This must be done in accordance with the SITA policy framework. 
  • Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of governance mechanisms for Test and QA, monitor the adherence thereto so as to deliver quality product in a controlled environment 
  • Lead, Manage, Execute System Testing programmes/ project spanning multiple environments to ensure that it is successfully delivered 
  • Participates in automated and system testing phases of programmes/projects spanning multiple environments to ensure that it is successfully delivered 
  • Lead, manage and develop work packages for testing components taking into consideration SITAs software development stack ICT standards and enterprise architecture for Governance 
  • Lead, manage, and develop testing components using SITA test methods and Testing technique using SITA approved tools 
  • Lead, manage and execute maintenance of testing components using SITA test methods and testing techniques using SITA approved testing tools. 
  • Lead manage and execute comprehensive system test activities in accordance with SITA test methods and testing techniques using SITA approved testing tools 
  • Lead and manage multiple stakeholders’ relationship according to stakeholder’s relationship management plans to unable effective management and improvement of stakeholder’s relationships 
  • Ensure that resource (including self) is kept abreast of latest industry development and ensure that appropriate technologies are used for knowledge as to ensure innovation improved for productivity. 
 
Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: B-Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or National Diploma in ICT at NQF6. 
Experience: 7-8 years’ experience in the ICT field, IT Governance, IT Planning, System Development, Procurement, implementation, and maintenance/enhancements of an integrated solution across multiple hardware and software platforms with projects leadership, management, operational responsibility in a large corporate/ public sector organization 4-5 years’ experience in System Testing professions including the application of testing technique, interpretation of solution design, architectures, walkthroughs the inspections, functions, and non-function test concepts, and manual software testing.

Purpose of the job

Key Responsibility Areas 
  • Develop ICT proposals aligned to the Commercial Proposal Development process in accordance with SITA Policy framework. 
  • Adhere to Architectural and Governance mechanisms for the Business Requirements. 
  • Analyse and interpret the requirements for specific client demand in consultation with Business Units (catalogued and non-catalogued services) in line with SITA Service Catalogue, including the compilation of proposals. 
  • Support, implement and ensure adherence and compliance to the Commercial Proposal Development methodologies and regulations to standardize. 
  • Monitor, measure and improve Client Proposal service delivery. 
  • Provide inputs to the budgeting process and planning and monitor/control the budget so that the expenditure is within the approved Budget. 
 
Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: A National Diploma or B Degree in Business Management, Project management, Information Technology or Computer Science. 
Experience: 5 – 6 years working experience in the business management, product management life cycle, including 2 – 4 years working experience in a Proposal Development environment. 
 
Technical Competencies Description 
Knowledge of: High level of ICT products and services Proposal development processes including coordination with other lines of businesses and putting together a proposal document. Communication skills MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
