Purpose of the job 
To help the business implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners. (Review, assessment, and development of business processes. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
  • Consults with clients (Govt Departments) management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access. to improve interoperability of government systems and quality of services and deliverables 
  • Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes. 
  • Deliver services according to project plans and architectural and governance mechanisms to ensure overall compliance and improved service delivery 
  • Create business requirements analysis and design work packages for integrated software components, taking into consideration SITA’s software development stack and doing this in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government 
  • Model Target Business Solution Specification in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government 
  • Develop Target Business Solution Specification in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government 
  • Manage client’s expectations. to ensure that IT solutions meet client needs and Model Business Solution specification in accordance with ICT standards

Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: 3-year Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent/NQF level 6 with 360 credits. 
Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in business analysis, business process management and business process engineering/reengineering. Including experience in business modelling. experience in business architecture. 
 
Technical Competencies Description

Purpose of the job 
The provision of second level support services relating to specific application systems according to service elements as specified in the applicable service level agreements under supervision. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
  • Troubleshoot calls logged on a call logging system on faults reported by clients, using the particular application to ensure the availability of the application. 
  • Do functional user acceptance/system testing under supervision against the test plan to ensure functionality of the application 
  • Provide advice or training to users about the application systems functionality with support and supervision to ensure optimal functionality of applications. 
  • Update relevant user procedure manuals/Online Help and/or equivalent documentation under supervision to ensure accurate information on the application is available to the user 
  • Provide Information Support to clients and supervisors. 
 
Qualifications and Experience 
Required Qualification: 1 - 2-year National Certificate in an Information Technology / NQF level 5 or accredited specialised courses. 
Experience: 2 - 3 years application support experience. 
 
Technical Competencies Description

Purpose of the job 
The Consultant Infrastructure Implementation Management is a senior role within End User Computing ensuring delivery on various service components within EUC such as Security Services, Backup Services, Service Management Services, Switch & Cabling Services and Infrastructure Implementation Services. Management of technical architecture design and solution team to ensure LAN design and solution implementation are successfully delivered and maintained. To maintain and gradually improve business aligned IT service quality through technical expertise in the evaluation, design, build and delivery of complex LAN Infrastructure solutions including LAN security architecture and solutions. Ensuring a high availability and delivery of the various services according to service level metrics. Management and execution of various Service Level Agreements and delivery of the various projects according to charters and plans.

Purpose of the job 
To lead, manage, and govern the Big Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence Programme within the Application Development and Maintenance Division, ensuring the effective delivery of integrated data governance, analytics, AI and machine learning solutions, and enterprise reporting. The role enables data-driven decision-making, regulatory compliance, and the development of smart, data-enabled communities, aligned with organisational strategy, public-sector mandates, and approved programme and governance frameworks. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
  • Initiate, plan, and govern the Big Data, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning Programme in accordance with approved programme and project management methodologies. 
  • Direct and manage programme execution to ensure the successful delivery of all subsidiary data governance, analytics, AI, machine learning, and smart community initiatives. 
  • Oversee the implementation and operationalization of enterprise data governance and AI governance frameworks, including data ownership, stewardship, quality, standards, ethics, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI practices. 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and standards, including POPIA, data security and privacy requirements, AI-related ethical guidelines, and public-sector governance frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience

Certification: Data governance, data management, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or data analytics-related certifications (advantageous) 
 
Experience:
  • A minimum of 8–10 years’ working experience in complex related project or programme Management environments. Demonstrated experience managing data governance, analytics, or data- enabled programmes within large organisations. 
  • At least 4 years in a leadership role managing complex programmes or portfolios. 
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a public and/or private sector ICT environment.
