WESTERN CAPE REGION
PRACTITIONER: FACILITIES MANAGEMENT AND AUXILIARY SUPPORT (RE-ADVERT)
Salary: R316 791- R373 167 (SL 8) p/a exclusive of benefits.
Location: Regional Office, Cape Town (REF: PRAC2020/FMAS)
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a B Degree/National Diploma (3 yr)/NQF equivalent tertiary qualification in the Build Environment or related field coupled with 1-2 years’ experience in the relevant field. Computer Literacy and a Valid Driver’s license are essential.
The incumbent will:- assist in conducting physical infrastructure needs assessments; support to the Assistant Manager in ensuring compliance with national norms and standards with regard to accommodation; assist with renewal and management of leases; assist with day to day maintenance requests, minor projects and furniture procurement. Conduct OHS inspections and recommendations in the Region. Supervise and manage Performance and Development of staff.
Preference for the above position will be given to Persons with Disability, African Male, White Male followed by White Female as at the time of appointment.
