SENIOR GRANTS ADMINISTRATOR: GRANTS ADMINISTRATION SALARY LEVEL 07
Salary: R 325 101– R 362 994 p.a. exclusive of benefits
Location: Namakwa District – Pofadder Local Office (Ref No.: SAS NC26/04/01) - Re-Advertisement (Applicants who previously applied are encouraged to re-apply if still interested)
Location: ZF Mgcawu District – Paballelo Local Office (Ref No.: SAS NC26/04/02)
Location: Pixley Ka Seme District – Nonzwakazi Local Office (Ref No.: SAS NC26/04/03)
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have a Senior Certificate plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA in the field of Public Administration/ Business Administration / Economics / Development Studies / Finance / Accounting / Commerce / Social Sciences / Social Security/ Law / Information Technology, coupled with 3 years’ experience in Social Security; Computer literacy and a Valid Driver’s Licence are essential.
Duties: The incumbent will conduct quality assurance and completeness of supporting documents to applications; Verify applications, means test requirements and related declarations; Approve or reject applications for various grant types; Perform other grants value chain functions in relation to Beneficiary Maintenance, Medical bookings, Customer Care services as well as off-site services; Oversee and supervise the quality of the administration of social grants processes and advise on policies and processes within the grants value chain; Manage staff performance and resources; Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, Part 3)
Preference for the above positions will be given to:
Pofadder Local Office – People with Disability/Coloured Male followed by African Male followed by White Female respectively as at the time of appointment.
Paballelo Local Office – People with Disability/Coloured Male, followed by African Male followed by Coloured Female/White Female respectively as at the time of appointment
Nonzwakazi Local Office – PWD/Coloured Male, followed by African Male followed by Coloured Female/or White Female respectively as at the time of appointment
