Location: Babanango Local Office (Ref No: S3/2026) 

 

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) with 0-1 year working experience. Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential (Successful candidates will be expected to drive). 

 

Duties: The incumbent will be responsible for keeping log book of pool vehicles and ensure maintenance of thereof; keep appropriate registers updated; keep register of assets and do regular follow ups to update the register; check for completeness of leave forms and HR documentation; have a filing system in place aligned to the master file plan of SASSA; opening and closing of files; represent the Local Office in various meetings, forums, committees; assist with the arrangement of meetings and special events or awareness campaigns; obtaining quotation if not available; write motivation and attached Comparative Schedule; send through for approval to District/ Regional Office for approval; ordering of items; receipts, check and book items in accordance to the delivery note; arrange for payment of invoice. Ensure adherence to section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3).

Minimum Requirements: Candidate should hold a Senior Certificate plus a relevant National Diploma/ Degree (NQF Level 6) / Degree (NQF Level 7) with 1-2 years working experience; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential (successful candidate will be expected to drive). 

 

Duties: The incumbent will be responsible to monitor and ensure the maintenance of log books of pool vehicles; ensure the implementation and maintenance of appropriate registers; monitor the implementation and maintenance of database assets. Ensure the local office staff comply with HR policies and procedures; ensure that all HR forms and documents are correct and complete; ensure that HR request/ documents/ forms are forwarded to District office timeously; ensure the maintenance of appropriate registers. Ensure the implementation and maintenance of a filing system that is aligned to the master file plan of SASSA; represent the Local Office in various meetings, forums committees; assist with the arrangement of meetings and special events or awareness campaigns. Obtaining quotations if not available; write motivation and attach comparative schedule; obtain approval from delegated authority; ordering of items; receipts, check and book items in accordance to the delivery note. Supervision, appraisal, disciplinary; leave; training and development; planning and organizing; guidance and monitoring. Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold A qualification in the relevant field at NQF level 6 /7 as recognised by the South Africa Qualifications Authority (SAQA) in the following disciplines: Public Administration / Business Administration / Economics / Development Studies / Finance / Accounting / Commerce / Social Sciences / Social Security coupled with 3 years’ experience Assistant Manager level or equivalent; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential. 

 

Duties: The incumbent will Monitor the provision of effective and efficient social security services within a local office area; Manage the grant administration program in the local office; Manage of grant administration processes at Service Points; Provide advice on social assistant legislation, policies and procedures; Mange administrative support services provided within the local office; Manage and coordinate the operational plan in line with regional and district strategies; Manage the resources in the local office.

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a B degree or a 3-year tertiary qualification coupled with 1-2 years relevant experience; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential. 

 

Duties: The incumbent will Facilitate and assist with the effective provisioning of Training & Development programmes; Assist with the development and compilation of statistical reports on Training & Development matters; Advice / assist / support district offices and local offices with Training & Development issues; Facilitate and assist with Employee Wellness Programmes, HIV & AIDS in the workplace and Employment Equity; Facilitate and assist with the effective implementation of Performance Management and Development System in the Region and Management functions.

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a B degree or a 3 year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6/NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA coupled with 1-2 years management experience; Knowledge of SASSA's Constitutional mandate and relevant policies, legislation and its relationship with National and other stakeholders; Knowledge of Social Security and poverty alleviation matters including sound understanding of the demographics of the District; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential. 

 

Duties: The incumbent will Assist with the management, coordination and implementation of grant value chain operations Local Offices; Assist with the management and coordination of beneficiary maintenance matters; Manage and provide customer cares services within the District; Assist with the management of disability management in the Region with regard to disability grants; Facilitate and manage services in respect of paypoint and vendor management; Provide advice on social assistant legislation, policies and procedures in relation to beneficiary maintenance; Assist with the management of the Unit and Manage subordinates in the section.

GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME X1 POST 

Location: KZN Regional Office : Information and Communication Technology(Ref No.:SASIn – 1) 

 

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a National Diploma/B-Tech/ Degree (NQF Level 6 or 7) in Information and Communication Technology 

All applicants must be between the ages of 18 – 35 years and be South African citizens. Successful candidates will be appointed for 24 months internship contract. An all-inclusive monthly stipend of R7 860.50 will be payable.
