HEAD OFFICE
SENIOR MANAGER: BENEFICIARY MAINTENANCE
Salary: R 1,317,384–R 1,551,807 p.a. inclusive of benefits
Location: Head Office– (Ref No: SAS HO14/06/26-21)
Nature of Position: Permanent
Minimum Requirements: A qualification at NQF Level 7, as recognized by SAQA, in the field of Business Administration, Information Technology, Information Management Systems, Business Information Systems, Finance or BCom with a specialization in Analytics; Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service) endorsed by the National School of Government; The requirements for application of Senior Management Services (SMS) include the successful completion of an SMS Pre-entry programme (Nyukela) as endorsed by the National School Government (NSG) before appointment.
Experience: 5 Years’ relevant experience at a middle / senior managerial level.
Added Advantage: A certificate in Data Mining or Data Analytics or Data Science. Practical hands-on experience in data analysis or Systems Development will be beneficial.
Knowledge and Skills: Functional / Professional Knowledge (subject knowledge), Planning & Organizing, Innovation / Creativity, Computer Literacy (Expert Level), Data analysis, Strategic Capability and Leadership, People Management and Empowerment, Programme and Project Management, Financial Management, Change Management and Service Delivery Innovation and Grants Administration.
Key Performance Areas: The incumbent will manage beneficiary maintenance processes to ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of records. Champion digital transformation through automation and modernization of core operational processes, Develop and implement comprehensive national operational strategies for beneficiary records management. Strengthening governance frameworks and drive improved organizational performance. Manage resources effectively, including staff supervision, development, and related personnel matters. Conduct advanced data analysis and data triangulation across large and complex datasets from multiple sources to support decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

MANAGER: BUDGET ADMINISTRATION AND REPORTING (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)
Salary: R932 292– R1 098 195 p.a. inclusive of benefits
Location: Head Office Pretoria (Ref No. SAS HO14/06/26-22)
Nature of Position: Permanent
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA in the field of Cost and Management Accounting / Accounting / Financial Management.
Experience: 3-5 years’ relevant experience in Management Accounting at a middle management level (level of Assistant Manager or Equivalent).
Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and National Treasury guidelines, Expertise in MTEF planning, budgeting, and budget management processes, Skilled in expenditure tracking, variance analysis, costing, and financial forecasting; Experienced in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, Proficient in cash flow management, financial statement analysis, and compliance reporting Solid understanding of South African National Treasury reporting standards and audit requirements; Competent in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP) for budgeting and expenditure control, Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modelling; Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning abilities, Effective problem-solving within budget constraints, Ability to translate financial data into strategic insights and monitor performance; Skilled in report writing and presenting financial information clearly, Able to engage and coordinate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Key Performance Areas: The incumbent will monitor budget and expenditure; Perform effective budget monitoring and variance analysis; Coordinate Budget & Support; Manage stakeholders; Manage Budgets for regions / branches and manage the resources within the Unit.
