CONTRACT WORKERS: GRANTS REVIEW X 75 (CONTRACT VALID TILL 31 MARCH 2027). 

Salary: R170,226 – R200, 523 plus 37% in lieu of benefits per annum (Salary Level 3). 

 

Minimum requirement: A recognised NQF Level 6 qualification, as recognised by SAQA, in the following disciplines: Public Administration / Public Management / Business Administration. / Economics / Development Studies / Finance / Accounting / Commerce / Social Sciences / Social Security: Computer and Mathematical literacy are essential. 

 

Duties: Conducting beneficiary screenings and completing manual applications. Performing file-level reviews and validations. Assisting beneficiaries in navigating the appropriate service cubicles. Verifying documentation and information submitted for reviews and life certificates. Identifying frail or immobile beneficiaries and conducting home visit reviews. Participating in mobile review operations in remote or underserved areas. Assisting with mass review events held at community halls or municipal offices. Updating beneficiary records in the SOCPEN system, Beneficiary Biometric Enrolment and other relevant platforms. Capturing and maintaining accurate grant data. Identifying cases for suspension, lapsing, recovery of overpayments, or referral for investigation. Supporting document tracking, filing, and preparation of review reports. Scanning and indexing documentation to ensure completeness and audit readiness. Collaborating with registry and review teams to meet daily processing targets. Ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
