EXTERNAL VACANCIES
MANAGER: FACILITIES MANAGEMENT AND AUXILIARY SUPPORT (LEVEL 11) X1
Salary: R932 292– R1 098 195 p.a. inclusive of benefits
Location: Regional Office (Ref No. SAS 32/2026)
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a qualification at NQF Level 6/ 7 as recognized by SAQA in the following disciplines: Facilities Management/ Property Management/Project Management/Construction and Project Management/Public Administration coupled with 3-5 years relevant experience in Facilities /Property Management of which 2 years must be at an Assistant Manager level or equivalent.
Duties: The incumbent will facilitate the planning and acquisition of the Region’s office accommodation needs; Provide efficient and effective facility operations and maintenance; Manage fleet in the Region; Render auxiliary support and general support services in the Region; Coordinate Occupational Health, Safety, compliance measures and practices in the Region; Provide leadership and management of the unit.

LOCAL OFFICE MANAGER (LEVEL 12) X1
Salary: R1 101 468 – R1 297 476 p.a. inclusive of benefits
Location: Mthatha Local Office (Ref No. SAS 33/2026)
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a qualification at NQF Level 6/ 7 as recognized by SAQA in the following disciplines: Public Administration/Business Administration / Economics/ Development Studies/ Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce/ Social Sciences/ Social Security coupled with 3 years’ experience at Assistant Management level or equivalent. Computer Literacy and a valid driver’s license is essential.
Duties: The incumbent will monitor the provision of effective and efficient social security services within a local office area; Manage the grant administration program in the local office; Manage the grant administration processes at service points; Provide advice on social assistance legislation , policies and procedures; Manage administrative support services provided within the local office; Manage and coordinate the operational plan in line with regional and district strategies; Manage the resources in the local office.

GRANT ADMINISTRATOR: (LEVEL 5) X7
Salary: R 237 453 – R330 162 pa exclusive of benefits.

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a qualification at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA in the following disciplines: Public Administration/ Public Management /Business Administration/ /Economics/Development Studies/ Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce/Social Sciences/Social Security/Law/ Information Technology. Computer literacy is essential.
Duties: The incumbent will provide grant customer care service; Screen and capture grant applications including beneficiary maintenance functions effectively; Administer medical bookings and assessments; Provide off -site grant application services to clients; Scanning and batching of grants files.
