The following positions are available in the KZN Region 
 
TEAM LEADER: GRANT ADMINISTRATION X2 (LEVEL 8) 
Salary: R 397,116.00 – R 467,790.00 p.a. exclusive of benefits 
Location: KwaNgwanase Local Office (Ref No. G10/2025) & Nongoma Local Office (G11/2025) 
 
Requirements: Candidates should have a Senior Certificate plus qualification in the relevant field at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA coupled with 3 years’ supervisory experience in Social Security; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential. 
 
Added Advantage: Understanding of Grants Administration, SASSA’s constitutional mandate, relevant policies and legislation in the Public Service will be an added advantage. 
The incumbent will be responsible for Coordination and supervision of various functional areas within the Local Office; Promote Service Delivery initiatives to improve efficiency; Management of staff at lower levels; Implement norms and standards in the grants value chain.

SENIOR GRANT ADMINISTRATOR (LEVEL 07) 
Salary: R325,101.00 – R382,959.00 p.a. exclusive of benefits 
Location: Paulpietersburg Local Office (Ref No: G12/2025) 
 
Requirements: Candidates should have a Senior Certificate plus qualification in the relevant field at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA coupled with 3 years’ experience in Social Security; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential. 
The incumbent will conduct quality assurance and completeness of supporting documents to applications; Verify applications, means test requirements and related declarations; Approve or Reject Applications for various grant types; Provide other grants value chain processes in relation to Beneficiary Maintenance, Medical Bookings of Assessments, Customer Care services and off-site services; Oversee and supervise the quality of the administration of social grants processes and advise on policies and processes within the grants application value chain; Manage staff performance and resources.

REGIONAL EXECUTIVE MANAGER 
Salary: R 1,741,770–R 1,962,090 p.a. inclusive of benefits 
Location: Gauteng Regional Office– (Ref No: SAS GP15/06/25-01) 
Nature of Position: Permanent 
 
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a qualification at NQF Level 8 as recognized by SAQA ; Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service) endorsed by the National School of Government; The requirements for application of Senior Management Services (SMS) include the successful completion of an SMS Pre-entry programme (Nyukela) as endorsed by the National School Government (NSG) before appointment; Computer literacy and a valid driver's license are essential and should be indicated on the CV. 
 
Experience: 8 years’ relevant experience at a Senior Managerial level. 
 
Knowledge and Skills: Functional / Professional Knowledge (subject knowledge), Planning & Organizing, Innovation / Creativity, Policy Analysis and Development, Programme and Project Management, Financial Management, Strategic Capability and Leadership and Change Management, and Ensure adherence to Section 57 (Responsibilities of other Officials) of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, Part 3). 
 
Key Performance Areas: The incumbent Oversee, manage and report on the development of the management of administration, payment of social assistance and related social security services in the region based on legislative frameworks, policies, strategies, operational frameworks, guidelines and effective programmes; Ensure that social security operations and strategies are implemented and rolled out in the region to enhance productivity and the Agency’s footprint; Maintain the ethics of the Agency of the grants administration and payment management business chain within the region; Implement programmes and projects in accordance with the Agency’s mandate in compliance with the SASSA Act and/ as directed by the Executive Directives; Ensure the standardization and implementation of the services of the Agency within the region to promote good governance and the Agency’s brand and Oversee, manage and report on the financial management, corporate services, and performance of the region in line with the set regulations and prescripts.

SENIOR MANAGER: COMMUNICATION AND MARKETING 
Salary: R1 216 824 – R 1 433 355 p.a. inclusive of benefits 
Location: Free State Regional Office (Ref No. SAS FS15/03/25-02) 
Nature of Position: Permanent 
 
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA in relevant field. Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service) endorsed by the National School of Government; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential and should be indicated on the CV. 
 
Experience: 5 years of experience at a middle/ senior managerial level in Communications and Marketing. 
 
Knowledge and Skills: Functional/ Professional knowledge (subject knowledge); Planning & Organizing; Innovation/ Creativity; Policy Analysis and Development; Manage staff; Project Management; Manage Finance; Strategic Thinking and Planning and Events Management. 
 
Key Performance Areas: The incumbent will provide branding and publication services; Provide an internal, external communication service and media liaison; Improve organizational efficiency through the provision of an integrated change management service in the Region; Provide leadership in order to enhance the Unit performance and outputs of the uni Unit; and Manage resources and matters pertaining to staff.

LABOUR RELATIONS COORDINATOR 
Salary: R468 459– R551 823 p.a. exclusive of benefits 
Location: Head Office Pretoria (Ref No. SAS HO15/06/25-03) 
Nature of Position: Permanent 
 
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA in Labour Relations / Human Resources Management/ LLB / Post graduate qualification in Labour Law; Computer literacy and a valid driver's license are essential and should be indicated on the CV. 
 
Experience: 3 – 5 years’ experience in relevant field.
 
Knowledge and Skills: Labour Relations Act; Basic Conditions of Employment Act; Employment Equity Act; Public Finance Management Act; policy development; Interpretation of legislation and policies; Manage Staff and Project ManagementPlanning & Organizing; Innovation; written and verbal communication; analytic thinking, problem solving
 
Key Performance Areas: The incumbent will assist with the management of collective bargaining processes; Assist with the facilitation of labour relations cases in respect of dispute resolution, grievances and disciplinary cases within the Agency; Provide advice on labour relations matters and Assist with the facilitation of labour relations training within the Agency. 
 
Preference will be given to African Male or Coloured Male or Indian Male/ Female or White Male/ Female.
