The following position is available in KZN Region 
 
Network Technician: Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) 
Salary : R316 791– R 373 167.00 p.a. exclusive of benefits 
Location : Pietermaritzburg Regional Office (Ref No: SAS10/2020). 
 
 
Candidates should hold a B degree or a 3 year tertiary qualification in Information Systems /related spheres coupled with 3-5 years appropriate software/hardware experience in the field of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT); MS Project skills, scheduling and reporting skills and a valid driver's licence are essential. 
 
The incumbent will administrate and configure network devices; Administrate the network hardware (LAN, WAN, VPN and AV); Repair and Service network equipment; Manage the performance and development of staff in the immediate span of control in line with SASSA's policy 
 
Preference will be given to Person with Disability/African Male followed by Indian Male and African Female respectively as at the time of appointment.

Appointment will be subject to a compulsory pre-employment screening in the form of qualification, reference, ITC, criminal checks and compulsory competency assessment (where applicable).
