General Manager: Office of the CEO 
Salary: R1 251 183 R1 495 956 p.a. inclusive of benefits 
Location: Head Office 
(Ref No.: SAS H/O 25/08/19-01) 
Duration: 5 years contract 
 
Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) as recognized by SAQA in the relevant field coupled with 5 years' experience at a Senior Management level in the relevant field; Understanding of the Public Service Management Framework; Computer literacy and a valid driver's license are essential.
 
The incumbent will provide support to the office of the CEO; Facilitate collaboration between the office of the CEO and key strategic stakeholders; Facilitate, coordinate and manage various strategic events, projects and programs identified to meet short, medium and long term objectives within the CEO’s Office; Liase with internal and external stakeholders on issues pertaining to policy, strategy, high level coordination of systems / processes and other content issues involved with the Office of the CEO; Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of high-level decisions within the Agency; Undertake research and compiling of reports for the CEO; Ensure effective management of all operations and functions in the Office of the CEO; Ensure that the protocols for management of the flow in and out of information, documents, and reports from the Office of the CEO are responsive to the standard set; Liaise with internal business units to ensure that service delivery is effectively managed; Participate in the development of the strategy, policies and plans for the Department; Provide support with respect to media liaison; Management of operational plans, budget and expenditure; Manage and lead Team; Ensure adherence to Section 57(Responsibilities of other Officials) of the Public Finance Management Act ( PMFA, Chapter 6, Part3) and other legislation that is required for the execution of duties.

General Manager: Human Capital Management (Re-advertisement) 
Salary: Salary: R1 251 183 R1 495 956 p.a. inclusive of benefits 
Location: Pretoria - Head Office

Duration: 5 years contract 
 
The candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognised bySAQA in the relevant field coupled with 5 years' experience at a Senior Management level in the relevant field; The incumbent must have a broad understanding of the Public Service Management Framework; Computer literacy and a valid driver's license are essential.
 
The incumbent will ensure efficient, effective management and utilization of human capital within the Agency; Ensure operational human resource management is aligned to the strategic goals and objectives to improve business performance; Provide strategic direction and manage organisational development matters within the Agency; Manage/facilitate/monitor the development and performance of human capital within the Agency; Development / Implementation and improvement of human capital policy and strategies towards service delivery improvement; Provide strategic direction and ensure sound labour relations within the Agency; Develop a labour and employee strategy by creating a sound environment for the Agency to deliver on its mandate; Ensure that an integrated employeewellness programme and services are implemented and maintained; . Monitor and provide strategic leadership to human capital related matters Including advise and support to Regions; Manage the Units; Ensure adherence to Section 57 (Responsibilities of other Officials) of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, Part 3).

General Manager: Security ( Head of Security) 
Salary: R1 251 183 R1 495 956 p.a. inclusive of benefits
Location: Head Office - Pretoria (

Duration: 5 years contract
 
The candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognised by SAQA in the relevant field coupled with 5 years' experience at a Senior Management level in the relevant field; The incumbent must have a broader understanding of the Public Services Management Framework as well the SASSA Act and Security Related Acts and prescripts; Computer literacy and a valid driver's license are essential. The incumbent will provide an effective and efficient security and safety Management services; Develop, implement and manage the overall SASSA's process for security strategy; identify and implement security initiative and standards; Manage and execute security and safety operations; Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of facilities, personnel and cyber security information systems of the Agency; ; Provide stakeholder engangement; Manage and lead the team; Ensure adherence to Section 57 (Responsibilities of other Officials) of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, Part 3).

Senior Manager: Risk Assessment (Re-advertisement) 
Salary: R1 057 326 R 1 245 495 p.a. inclusive of benefits
Location: Head Office - Pretoria

Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA in the relevant field coupled with 5 years' experience at a Middle/Senior Management level in the relevant field; Knowledge of cyber risk management would serve as an added advantage; Knowledge of SASSA's constitutional mandate, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations and King Reports; Computer literacy and a valid driver's licence are essential.
 
The incumbent will provide risk assessment management services; Provide strategic leadership on risk management within the Agency; Develop, implement and maintain/ monitor a risk management policy and strategy; Lead the enterprise risk identification and assessment process; Guide the development of the risk mitigation action plans; Manage the development and monitoring of the systems of interaction between SASSA and stakeholders; Conduct cyber risk assessment and guide the development of mitigating controls; Manage service level agreement with service providers relating to governance and risk management outsourced service; Manage and lead the team; Ensure adherence to Section 57 (Responsibilities of other Officials) of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, Part 3.

Senior Manager: Internal Audit ( ICT Auditing)
Salary: R 1 057 326 R 1 245 495 p.a. inclusive of benefits
Location: Head Office - Pretoria

Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA in the relevant field coupled with 5 years' experience at a Middle/Senior Management level in the relevant field; Knowledge of SASSA's constitutional mandate, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations and King Reports; Computer literacy and a valid driver's licence are essential.
 
The incumbent will provide Information Technology ( IT) internal auditing services within the Agency; Manage the process to develop, implement and maintain IT Internal Audit policies and procedures; Develops a strategy for the efficient and effective completion of special projects through a well-defined scope and fieldwork approach consistent with professional standards; Monitor IT systems to determine complaints with standards (IT); Monitor network to detect mismanagement, possible fraud and efficiency; Recommend/ promote efficiency practices in the processing, capability user interface and security design; Determine where deployed IT solutions add value and are necessary; Determine the adequacy and effectiveness of SASSA’s technology and systems control to meet business objectives and customer needs. Develop and manage the audit plans to identify risks and controls for the determination of the IT audit objectives ; Provide leadership and management of the Unit; Ensure adherence to Section 57 (Responsibilities of other Officials) of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, Part 3).
 
Preference will be given to White Male followed by African Male and African Female, respectively as at the time of appointment.
 
 
 
 
 
Senior Manager: Office of the CEO
Salary: R1 057 326 R 1 245 495 p.a. inclusive of benefits
Location: Head Office - Pretoria (Ref No.: SAS H/O 25/08/19-06)
Duration: 5 years contract
 
Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA in the relevant field coupled with 5 years' experience at a Middle/Senior Management level in the relevant field; Knowledge of SASSA's constitutional mandate, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations; Computer literacy and a valid driver's licence are essential.
 
The incumbent will provide administrative support services to the Chief Executive Officer; Manage and coordinate all administrative matters within the Office of the CEO; Provide executive support services; Provide international liaison services; Provide parliamentary support services; To maintain and establish efficient administrative system for coordinating work; To manage, coordinate and oversee Ministerial, Parliamentary and intergovernmental relations Provide feedback on Parliamentary questions and queries relating to SASSA; Financial; management of the unit; Manage the staff of the unit; Ensure adherence to Section 57 (Responsibilities of other Officials) of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, Part 3).
