About the Position
SARS is seeking a meticulous and proactive professional to join the HAM team as a Consultant: Hardware Asset Management. This position is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of IT infrastructure assets throughout the organisation, from acquisition to disposal. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations in order to accurately record IT assets in the Fixed Assets Register, and ensure effective tracking and reporting of asset value and ownership. Successful execution of this role will enable the Service Assets Hardware team to manage IT infrastructure hardware assets efficiently, supporting organisational compliance and minimising unnecessary expenditures.
To plan, manage and monitor the implementation of area specific activities and end-to-end lifecycle of the IT Infrastructure assets, by managing and controlling those assets in compliance with Internal Tangible Asset Management Policy and related procedures, in order to deliver on approved operational plans and to continuously enhance service delivery.
Job Purpose

Minimum Functional Requirements
- Hardware Asset Management experience- Understanding of policies and regulations governing IT Infrastructure Assets.

- Audits: Ability to perform asset verification to maintain accurate records of IT Infrastructure Assets.

- Responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of IT Infrastructure hardware assets.
- Provide financial expertise within the IT environment to assist technical teams in managing IT Infrastructure assets.

- Manage the IT Infrastructure asset register ensuring that the asset register is continuously updated to reflect movement of assets in order to provide accurate input into SARS Financial statements.

About the Position
SARS is looking for a goal-driven specialist IT Solutions Support Engineer, a professional with a proven record to provide expertise, advice, and support in practice formulation and associated best practice improvement tactics by ensuring sustainability of SARS software, systems, and technologies with extensive knowledge of systems development methodologies, frameworks, techniques, concepts, and principles with emphasis on Agile methodology. About the Position
SARS is looking for a talented Specialist Systems Engineer with expertise in Internet Information Systems Technology (IIS). This role involves overseeing the coordination, configuration, installation, and management of software architectures within the organization. The focus will be on implementing system architectures, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to software and network components, ensuring smooth business transactions, and maintaining a stable environment for business processing systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for both production and non-production environments, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability at all times.
