Develop and implement pricing strategy for products and services.
Manage performance of direct reportees and talent management of direct reports; setting career development paths for all staff and succession planning.
Lead, motivate, guide and manage the team and staff to create an enabling environment to achieve strategic objectives through a culture of performance excellence that promotes teamwork, collaboration, professional development and growth.
Ensure effective governance, compliance, risk management functions and resources are in accordance with relevant risk management framework, regulations, and legislation such as Banks Act, Postbank Act, Companies Act, Public Finance Management Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Delegation of Authority, as well as company policies, processes and procedures etc.

Qualifications and Experience
Relevant Post graduate qualification e.g. Business Administration, Marketing or related field (NQF 8)
Master’s Degree or MBA/MBL (NQF level 9), with commercial background.
Experience:
Minimum 8 - 10 years post qualification relevant experience of which 5 years in a senior management position of similar nature. Experience within the banking/ financial services environment is mandatory.
Knowledge and understanding of:
Extensive experience in retail banking and business-to-business relationship development and implementation
Experience in commercial strategy development and implementation
Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth
Experience of managing retail banking products & distribution channels appreciating the COO as a revenue generating function.
Knowledge of banking and financial services products, business processes, operational risks, relevant legislation and regulations
Pricing within the banking and financial services sector
Proven track record in a customer driven, sales and or product innovation role
Good knowledge in dealing with savings/ transactional and lending product suites

Purpose of the Job
To support the leadership team in achieving Postbank’s strategic objectives through the effective management and successful execution of all projects, including the prioritisation and organisation of the projects workload in accordance with Postbank’s strategic business priorities. Furthermore, provide a comprehensive service to the organisation focusing on delivering major programmes, projects and major system enhancements. Maintain strategies, process, procedures and methodologies, as a strategic goal, to manage the entire Projects Portfolio. Relationship management with all stakeholders across the entire value chain of all projects and Manage the administration of project prioritisation, resourcing, monitoring and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Develop strategy, processes, procedures and methodologies to ensure successful implementation of Postbank’s projects
Ensure that all projects are aligned to the strategic objectives of Postbank.
Lead the development and maintenance of project management policies, procedures and standards
Manage and oversee project management methodologies, tools, techniques to ensure consistency across all projects
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues and develop and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
Support the development of clear case for change and implementation of best practises to ensure successful implementation of projects. This includes sound project governance principles, effective decision-making and execution of projects.
Manage the overall functioning of the PMO, ensure alignment across business, information, applications, data and technology and ensure coordination and alignment of strategic projects - including industry driven initiatives.
Compile and manage PMO budgets and forecasts.
Ensure cost effective business transformation support functions are designed and implemented
Monitor and measure overall progress of portfolio office against set budgets and financial plans for projects and highlight areas for EXCO focus/further action.
Ensure that projects are delivered within budget and on schedule while meeting quality standards
Champion project management disciplines and provide guidance and oversight on the PMO policies, processes, structures and tools for project management.

Purpose of the Job
The General Manager: Strategy plays a key leadership role in the business, leading the strategy management team towards the development of long-term strategic plans and objectives through the identification of strategic initiatives and opportunities that could influence business growth and profitability.
Job Responsibilities
Direct Business Leadership and Stakeholders on strategy formulation and implementation of Corporate Strategy and play a key role in the embedding of the strategy in the organisation.
Facilitate and consolidate the development of Business Unit strategies in alignment with Postbank’s overall business strategy. This includes the compilation of the bank’s Corporate Plan (CP) and Annual Performance Plan (APP) with measurable KPI’s in support of continued improvement of the business’s overall performance
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to strategy development and execution
Develop, implement and manage a sustainability strategy which includes clear strategic objectives, policies, processes, procedures and organisational performance framework which are aligned with Postbank’s Vision and Mission.
Facilitate the communication of the strategy, long-term vision, and underlying business logic within and across Business Units, and externally as appropriate.
Drive the execution of the strategy across the business through full integration with the Project Management Office (PMO) in alignment with the Corporate Plan and APP.
Measure, monitor and report on the company’s operational and strategic performance through the implementation of vigorous performance management processes and tools. This includes the compilation of quarterly performance reports as per governance requirements. Overseeing the development and implementation of performance metrics to measure the success of strategy initiatives
Ensure research methods, design, data collection and analysis to provide the necessary market understanding to drive evidence-based strategic and tactical organisational decisions and the generation of insights. Furthermore, suggest new innovative and disruptive concepts to support continuous improvement in Postbank.
Lead and oversee companywide knowledge preservation and the creation of a knowledge sharing environment to protect Company intellectual knowledge.
Manage stakeholder relations through communication strategies aimed at establishing collaborative partnerships and synergies with internal and
external stakeholders and to develop valuable customer insights necessary to build the business and promote service excellence.
Communicating progress and results of strategy initiatives to senior management, the Board and other stakeholders
Lead, motivate, guide and manage the team and staff to create an enabling environment to achieve strategic objectives through a culture of performance excellence that promotes teamwork, collaboration, professional development and growth.

Purpose of the Job
The Chief Legal Counsel reports to the CEO and is the head of the corporate legal department and is responsible for the legal affairs of the entire corporation. This role includes providing legal counsel to the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and the Executive team.
Job Responsibilities
Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to ensure organisational risks are sufficiently and appropriately mitigated.
Ensures a fit-for-purpose structure is in place, filled with competent professionals to support strategic and operational needs of the business.
Provide leadership and active insights into matters relating to managing the reputation and liabilities of the organisation.
Must ensure strong commercial understanding of the business to ensure organisational contracts are managed proactively and that the organisation is sufficiently covered to enforce performance and returns on services contracted to service providers.
