Summation
Develop and maintain the company Insurance facility according to sound risk and insurance principles throughout Postbank.
Registering and Managing a cell Captive, bringing about competitive advantage, and a lucrative product offering and optimise earnings through the active promotion of the insurance product and management of the insurance.
Develop, implement and maintain insurance products suited to the company. Create an exceptional level of understanding on all management levels by promoting the insurance.
Key Responsibilities
• Procuring, Registering, Management and Maintenance of a Cell Captive
• Proficient in SAM (Solvency Assessment and Management) or Solvency II
• Knowledgeable on placement of Reinsurance
• Implement and control claims policies, processes and procedures
• Manage salvage and auction operation for optimal returns
• Research, develop and maintain the insurance policies to ensure growth and sustainability
• Gather management information (analytical intelligence) and compile relevant management reporting
• Analyse and evaluate risks for underwriting of insurance business opportunities
• Manage and facilitate the insurance placement process to align with the insurance needs of the bank in a cost effective manner
• Develop and coordinate the creation and execution of the Postbank Insurance strategy
• Manage relationships with various stakeholders including suppliers
• Establish risk and prevention measures and recommend / monitor corrective action
• Knowledgeable in the development of Wealth/Bancassurance offerings
• Continuously evaluate trends and implications to inform decision-making relating to products and services

• FAIS Representative – completion of risk assessments and appropriate as per FAIS Act
• Ensure the efficient management of function / resources and reporting in accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, company specific policies and regulations, national legislation, fraud prevention and risk management principles, Corporate Governance, Skills development, Delegation of Powers, etc.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of an applicable Bachelors qualification (NQF Level 7)
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance/marine insurance field of which 3 years in a supervisory role. Insurance Board Exam written every 3 years for Representatives

Summation

Summation
Responsible for identifying sources of supply, evaluating and selecting suppliers. Negotiate certain contracts as delegated with commodity-specific suppliers providing procurement of materials and / or services for Postbank. Assist in developing/writing, in collaboration with business owners and users procurement specifications and related tender documents (LBD’s, RFP’s, RFQ’s, etc.). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy (HG)
Diploma (NQF 6) in Accountancy or Financial Management
EXPERIENCE
Two/2 years SAP FI or Debtors or Flexcube (UBS) module experience
Two/2 years Financial/banking experience including the clearing of items and reconciliations
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

QUALITY AND SLA MONITORING ADVISOR (C4) POSTBANK - BLOEMFONTEIN
Reports to: Manager Process Quality and SLA Monitoring
Summation
Focus and assist with quality improvement interventions for all sections in Postbank Operations. Identify causes of non-conformance and develop prevention measures.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform quality audits and projects to recommend and implement actions to maintain and improve performance indicators
• Design and implement quality improvement activities
• Identification of problem areas through trend analysis
• Perform quality checks and investigations into areas of non-conformance
• Analysis of critical information for presentation to management
• Initiate follow-up / preventive / corrective actions
• Make proposals and implement process improvement actions
• Training of quality and operational personnel in measurement and reporting procedures
• Co-ordination and communication of operational information to improve service delivery
• Do risk analysis by regular reviews on income protection operations
• Writes, revises and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently
• Retrieving, reviewing and analysing of data
• Identifying barriers and root causes of quality issues and performance gaps
• Researches best practices to impact quality improvement initiatives and utilization standards
• Performing trend analyses and identifying quality improvement opportunities
• Identifying and recommending procedures and workflow improvements
• Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers
• Monitors program performance after implementation to prevent re-occurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation
• Write documentation to describe program evaluation, testing and correction
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Relevant NQF 6 Degree or Diploma in Quality and Operations Management
• ISO 9001:2000 qualification will be a strong recommendation
Experience:
• 4 – 5 Years’ experience in operations and quality management
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 requirements
• Banking systems
• Knowledge and understanding of:
• In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations
• Development of SLA’s
• Performance systems
• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
• Sound knowledge of software development, user acceptance testing and release deployment to production
