RISK REPORTING SPECIALIST – C5
(Position based in Pretoria, NPC)
Reports to: Head Regulatory Reporting and Relations
 
Summation
Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements stipulated by all relevant legislative governing bodies.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review all daily, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly Regulatory returns and ensure reports are submitted to the relevant regulator on time and also ensure that the returns are reviewed by the various risk and business owners and that all queries from regulators are responded to accordingly.
• Provide advice and support all relevant stakeholders in terms of issues pertaining to the implementation of all relevant legislation applicable to banks.
• Monitor compliance and escalate all non-compliance incidents
• Prepare for meetings and interactions with Regulators i.e. SARB, FSCA, NCR and Information Regulator (arranging necessary logistics and presentations etc.)
• Collaborate and maintain stakeholder relationships with relevant key role players in the industry and keep abreast with all relevant trends or developments
• Assist in terms of facilitating relevant risk assessments and manage controls thereof.
• Involvement in the preparation and review of the bank’s ICAAP, Pillar 3 disclosure report as well as the Recovery and Resolution Plan report
• Prepare monthly analytical reporting pack relating to regulatory matters and tabling the reports to various internal committees/ platforms
• Attend to all Regulatory audit enquiries / requests (internal & external audit)
 
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Commerce, Risk Management or Commercial Law
 
Experience:
3 years’ experience
 
Skills and Attributes:
• Good process evaluation skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good planning, organising and time management skills
• Prepare research reports
• Develop training materials
