Job Title: Procedural Analyst C4 Postbank - Bloemfontein
Reports to: Manager: Quality and SLA Monitoring
Summation
Define, develop, update and compile operational procedures and policies relevant to the Postbank environment.
Key Responsibilities
Development and Maintenance of Policies and Procedures
Establish and maintain a library of all relevant legislation, regulations, products, services, procedures, policies, instructions, forms and reports relative to the Postbank
Modify/develop procedures, instructions, policies, forms for new products and services, report recommendations and implement approvals in collaboration with Retail and Learning Institute
Maintain familiarity with relevant software and other associated help tools
Liaise with UAT for the testing of the new procedures prior to distribution to production
Attend meetings and give input/feedback relating to Postbank processes
Implement a process to maintain manual procedures
Monitor adherence to agreed standards and SLA’s with Retail
Ensure that all procedures, operational instructions, and forms are available at all Post Office outlets.
Provide input in monitoring the conformance to processes, procedures and instructions
Liaise with Postbank’s Quality Advisor, Retail Quality Advisors, Centre of Excellence and Learning Institute on non-conformance issues and identified training needs and implement training programmes to ensure conformance and that all Tellers are fully conversant with Postbank products, services, policies, processes and procedures
Arrange, in collaboration with SCM, for the printing and timely distribution of all official forms.
Arrange for the timely communication of new interest rates, charges and service fees, in collaboration with Retail, to all Post Office outlets
Ensure effective communication on information relating operational matters.
Update information relating to new interest rates, charges and service fees on all published sources E.g. Internet, Intranet, Internet Banking, etc
Management support
Assist Learning Institute in compiling training manuals for employees with enhancements, new legislation or new systems
Assist in training needs for new Postbank Systems, new and old procedures
Liaise with Postbank’s Quality Advisor, Retail Quality Advisors, Centre of Excellence and Learning Institute on non-conformance issues and identified training needs and implement training programmes to ensure conformance and that all Tellers are fully conversant with Postbank products, services, policies, processes and procedures

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications: National Diploma (NQF 6) Business Administration, Management Services or Related Qualification
Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in Banking operations of which one year are of Retail POS systems
Proven Experience in writing processes and procedures
Knowledge and understanding of:
Strong knowledge of all Banking products, services, operations, regulations, policies, processes and procedures
Thorough knowledge of all Postbank products, counter operations and accounting procedures will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Banking Act, FAIS, FICA
In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations. Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
