Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with at least two years’ experience in the legal or policing environment
Core functions:
Conduct routine legal advisory functions
Perform duties as a standby legal official
Prepare arbitration cases and represent the employer in arbitrations
Prepare and handle civil litigation matters by and against the SAPS
Provide legal advice on loss related matters
Liaise and consult with the State Attorney and other role players
Provide expert legal advice regarding operational and support service enquiries

GENERAL

Generic Requirements:
