Remuneration Level: R467 208 per annum
LOCATION: Office of the Divisional Commissioner: Financial Management and Administration, Head Office, Pretoria

Generic Competencies:
Applicants must display competency in the post-specific core functions of the post;
Be in possession of a Senior Certificate (Grade 12);
Be (proficient) in at least two official languages, of which one must be English;
Must be a SA citizen;
Must not have tattoo/s which will be visible when wearing summer uniform;
Be in possession of at least a valid light vehicle driver’s license;
Must have no previous convictions or cases pending;
Applicants will be subjected to a vetting process which will include security screening and fingerprint verification.
Appointment Requirements:
An applicable three (3) year National Diploma / Degree registered on the National Learner Record Database (NLRD) on at least a NQF 6 or higher level and three (3) years relevant experience in the field of the post, of which two (2) years should be on supervisory level.
Relevant courses in the field of auditing and financial management may be an added advantage.
Core Functions:
Provide supervisory control over administration and personnel functions at the office of the Divisional Commissioner: Financial Management and Administration;
Ensure the maintenance of good organizational systems on documents;
Administer performance assessment and agreement of the Divisional Commissioner: Financial Management and Administration;
Maintain top secret and classified documents;
Create and maintain and information management database;
Compile memorandums, information notes, letters and reports;
Manage the diary of the Divisional Commissioner: Financial Management and Administration and brief her on meetings and appointments;
Conduct quality control on correspondence received and sent out of the office of the Divisional Commissioner: Financial Management and Administration;
Manage human, physical and financial resources;
Undertake quality control reporting, documents control and information management of the office.
General:

Certified copies of an applicant’s ID document, all educational qualifications obtained, service certificates of previous employers stating the occupation, proof of relevant experience in the field of the post and motor vehicle driver’s licence (where applicable),
The copies must be correctly certified on the copy itself, not at the back. The certification must not be older than three months.
Qualifications and driver’s licences submitted will be subjected to verification checking with relevant institutions.
Appointments will be made in terms of the Police Service as applicable to the post environment.

Shortlisting-listed candidates for appointment to certain identified posts, will be vetted in terms of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters)
Amendment Act, 2007 (Act No. 32 of 2007) and the Children’s Act, 2005 (Act No 38 of 2005) . A candidate whose particulars appear in either the National Register for Sex Offenders or Part B of the Child Protection Register, will be disqualified from appointment to that post.
The Criminal Law (Forensic Procedures) Amendment Act, Act 37 of 2013 requires that all new appointments in the South African Police Service as from 31st of January 2015 provide a buccal (inside cheek) sample in order to determine their forensic DNA profile. The forensic DNA profile derived from the sample will be loaded to the Elimination Index of the National Forensic DNA Database.
Applicants appointed under the Police Service Act will be subjected to a medical assessment by a medical practitioner as determined by SAPS prescripts. Applicants appointed under the Police Service Act will be subjected to undergo a lateral entry training programme at a SAPS training institution, where applicable.
All short-listed candidates will be subjected to fingerprint screening.
