Description
Key Performance Areas
Sales:
- Achieve set annual sales targets and increase revenue and market share
- Travel to defined geographies to sell products and services.
- Achieve the required number customer visits
- Build and manage relationships between AEC-Amersham and customers and/or relevant suppliers.
- Provide training, technical support and after sales service to customers on an ongoing basis.
- Meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Provide competitive information such as product specifications, pricing data, or bundling arrangements to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products.
- Perform product demonstrations, installations, and application support.
- Identifies the need for new products.
- Identify new clients and opportunities within existing business environment
- Prepare quotations and ensure follow-up.
- Complete and submit tenders accurately.
- Monitor sales/backorders of products
- Identify and manage exhibitions and congresses.
Marketing:
- Be able to conduct research to identify competitors, their product strategies, future requirements of the market, market trends and identify areas of potential sales successes (Competitor Analysis).
- Must be able to qualify leads and close opportunities.
- Introduce and manage marketing strategies for present and future product ranges (under supervision)
- Identify and manage exhibitions and congresses with management and support staff
- Identify advertising and promotional requirements for AEC-Amersham
- Ensure availability of marketing and sample material with the assistance of the internal sales support staff
- Provide input on proposed special offers to Sales Manager to drive sales in a specific area
- Compile Marketing Plans when new products are launched (under supervision)
Stakeholder Relations:
- Update suppliers’/customers’ contact details
- Assist with sales support to branches.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings.
- Ensure that applicable queries are escalated to suppliers when necessary
- Build on relationships with principals to ensure support channels are present when required.
- Use initiative to liaise effectively with all stakeholders
Administrations:
- Prepare quotations
- Submit quotations/pro-forma invoices within 24 hours of request (under supervision if need be).
- Follow-up on quotations/pro-forma invoices.
- Complete tenders accurately and submit prior to deadlines
- Submit reports to Sales Manager
- Hybrid position and must have facility to accommodate this
- Provide sales forecast
- Update SAP Activities post customer visits or important telephone calls.
- Update Outlook Electronic Calendar and Activity reports daily
- Manage conflict/complaints in an effective and professional manner
- Create and share knowledge base with colleagues and customers

- Input on price list updates

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- National Diploma/Degree in the Life Sciences,
- Preferably in the Life Science/ Laboratory Field, Biomedical Technology/BSC / experience in the relevant field.
- 3 years’ experience in life sciences - laboratory sales environment
- Computer literate (Word and Excel)
- Good communication and customer service skills

Job Profile:
To assist RPOs implement the facility radiation protection programme. This includes assisting with compliance to licence conditions, SHEQ-INS-requirements, and in turn compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements; and assist with development, implementation and maintenance of radiation protection and safety documents.

Communication

· Ensure, under the supervision of an RPO, that personnel records, especially regarding access to nuclear facilities, exposure records and occupational medical status are up to date.
· Compile, under the supervision of an RPO, RP surveillance reports, guidelines and plant specific procedures and control programmes.
Documentation and record keeping
· Keep, under the supervision of RPO, a complete and accurate record of radiological and conventional safety aspects in the facilities.
Staff development
· Performs, under the supervision of an RPO, training of new RP personnel in all the relevant aspects of the work environment.
· Ensures, under the supervision of an RPO, that personnel are trained in the correct use of safety equipment, emergency procedures, personal monitoring aspects and incident reporting.
· Ensure, under the supervision of an RPO, that continuous and effective on-the-job training are provided for personnel.
· Take initiative to promote safety culture in the facility/ies
· Keep up to date with the field of expertise through self-study, attendance of colloquia, courses and training sessions.

Manage the RO – Quality and Environmental Group, take responsibility for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Integrated Management
Key Performance Areas
Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
1. INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:
• Establish, develop, and maintain Level 1 and 2 Integrated Management System procedures in line with Necsa SHEQ, integrated codes of practice, international standards, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and legislation. -
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 and certify facilities for ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 45001
• Ensure that processes needed for the Integrated Management System and other Management Systems (new) and activities are developed, established, implemented, maintained, and improved according to applicable Necsa SHEQ system, International Standards and Guidelines, Legislation and Regulatory Requirements.
• Provide adequate information on the performance of the Integrated Management System to enable the RR management team to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the INTEGRATED management system.
• Ensure, inter alia, through its audit function, that the Integrated Management System phases of development, implementation, compliance, and maintenance of documents are maintained
• Plan and collate information for the RO management review of the Integrated Management System
• Identify any inadequacies in the Integrated Management System where improvements are required
2. AUDIT SYSTEM:
• Determine the progress towards achieving the Integrated Management System objectives and ensure that the certification/accreditation status of the Department are maintained.
• Prepare audit schedule for conducting internal & external audits related to Reactor Operations
• Conduct RO technical audits as per schedule and ensure that reports are generated. -
• Conduct and lead supplier audits as per schedule
• Compile action plans for third party audits and other audits as and when required
• Report on the audit status to staff and management as and when required. -
• Follow-up on and ensure that findings/observations are close-out and verification is conducted.
3. NON-CONFORMANCE SYSTEM:
• .Implement and maintain a Non-Conformance Reporting and Preventive Action system for Reactor operations
• Control and ensure the effective registration, corrective, preventive and closeout actions of Nuclear Incidents and Events,
• Follow up on NCR processes, including corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor, non-conformance, customer complaints, and document control database.
4. CALIBRATION & RELEASE OF ITEMS:
• Ensure that calibration system is audited, updated & the database is maintained
• Check IMTE systems to ensure they are updated and report any deficiencies.
• Develop & ensure Implementation of COC (Certificate of Conformance) system for Reactor Operations release of procured and manufactured products and items.
• Approve COC after being Quality Checked.
• Approve/Accept incoming inspection reports as and when required.
5. TRAINING:
• Provide training and support w.r.t QHSE systems and procedures.
• Provide support on training to all groups concerned in the Reactor Operations regarding QA/QC activities.
• Stay up to date with QA-QC developments by attending discussions, courses, and training sessions
Requirements
Person Profile:
KEY KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Knowledge in advance Metrology §
• Knowledge in NDE, different types of Inspections §
• Knowledge & experience in dimensional inspection and non-destructive examination
• Thorough knowledge of nuclear facilities and the various regulatory requirements to analyse, quality & environmental management, in respect of the reactor and its facilities (X-ray, radiographic etc)
