POSITION OBJECTIVE:
SANRAL is in the process of implementing its revised operating model and therefore seeks to appoint an Organisation Design to facilitate the implementation of the organisational structure through the job matching process between the old and new organisational structures so as to migrate employees accordingly.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Human Resources Management,
Industrial or Organisational Design/Development qualification.
• At least eight years relevant experience in Organisational Design.
• Experience in working across sizeable and complex organisations, successfully implementing organisation design / development projects, supporting significant business change.
• Experience in the following is required:
  • Evaluating organisational structures,
  • Conducting Job Analysis,
  • Conducting job classifications,
  • Compiling job descriptions,
  • Conducting job matching,
  • Validating minimum qualification requirements.
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review jobs in the new structure and classify each job by comparing the job profiles of the jobs in the current organisational structure and jobs in the new organisational structure to assess the extent of change regarding the following:
  • Job titles
  • Job content: key responsibilities, duties and activities
  • Academic requirements
  • Relevant work experience
  • Competencies
  • Skills and knowledge
• Review performance agreements to check for additional contextual information which is not in the job profiles.
• Match jobs of a common nature with similar scope and level of duties and responsibilities, experience, and where required; qualifications, job grade and/or remuneration structure, in order to provide the closest match to the jobs between the old and new organisational structures.
• Hold meetings with respective managers/supervisors where necessary to obtain additional job information.
