Requirements
- Be in possession of a Master’s degree or equivalent in resource/ environmental economics, business management, or environmental science.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in resource economics, environmental finance, business management, natural resource management, climate change mitigation, and biodiversity management.
- Thorough understanding of the tourism and conservation industry.
- Knowledge of tourism and hospitality-related policies that align with relevant legislation
- Knowledge of implementing business improvement initiatives
- Understanding of relevant legislation.

Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic financing framework(s) in support of nature-based outcomes, including models for leveraging finance to fund various sustainability initiatives to green SANParks operations.
- Understand develop and support the implementation of innovative nature-based financing solutions and mechanisms, including options for trading biodiversity and carbon credits and Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES).
- Develop a procurement and sourcing strategy for meeting the sustainability expertise and knowledge required.
- Strengthen and develop strategic alliances in support of nature-based outcomes within the implementation landscapes.
- Create mechanisms for conservation-livelihood links, including carbon credits, impact bonds, corridor adherence payments, corridor insurance scheme
- Create a local tourism carbon-offset program for non-avoidable carbon associated with travel which promotes SANParks as a responsible tourism destination.
- Scope and develop the best use case for a Conservation Trust Fund or Endowment Fund for SANParks.
- Support the sustainability reporting activities to internal and external stakeholders

HUMAN CAPITAL CLERK
A position exists for a Human Capital Clerk under the Human Capital Management (HCM) division within Kruger National Park, reporting to the Human Capital Practitioner. It should be noted that the successful candidate will be stationed in the Nxanatseni Region.

Requirements
- A minimum of NQF Level 6 (National Diploma in Human Resource or Office Administration Diploma).
- 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
- Computer skills: MS Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook).
- Relevant legislation, policies, regulations, and procedures related to the field
- Numeracy Skills
- The candidate must be discreet when handling confidential information
- Speed writing/ shorthand writing

Responsibilities
- Ensure proper administration of all appointments, employment applications, resignations, and promotions.
- Timeous preparation and submission of salary instructions to supervisor for approval before submitting to Payroll.
- Process payroll and resolve any errors on the side of HCM admin.
- Enter all payroll/timekeeping information into the payroll system, including leave, flex time and bereavement.
- Capture and maintain accurate employees Data on the Sage 300 System
- Ensure the timely and correct leave administration on a monthly basis for all employees.
- Maintenance of all Human Capital files ensuring that files are up to date and information is easily retrievable.
- Provide administrative support for the department.
- Respond to all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Provide statistical data to the Human Capital Practitioner for the preparation of monthly reports/statistics (appointments, deaths, promotions, etc.)

The Organisation requires the services of a Board Committee Secretary. This position will report to the Board Secretary and will be based at SANParks Head Office in Groenkloof, Pretoria.

Requirements
- Be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7).
- A CIS qualification will be an advantage.
- Computer literacy especially MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
