Park: Camdeboo National Park
Description:
A vacancy currently exists for a Section Ranger at Camdeboo National Park; to plan and execute the daily operations in the management of the section with the aim of protecting the territorial integrity of the section in line with all relevant legislation, biodiversity Management Plan and all internal Policies. The successful candidate will report to the Park Manager.
The remuneration package includes a basic salary, based on the salary scale of a position with a Paterson C4 job grade and allowances and benefits as specified in the HR Tariff Document and Conditions of Services of SANParks. The candidate will be required to stay outside the Park as Camdeboo does not have official accommodation.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Nature Conservation or equivalent - Essential
- EMI Grade 2 - Ideal
- Driver's License - Essential
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in the field
- Grade 12
Responsibilities:
- Assist and give input into conservation planning and development plans for the section.
- Manage the conservation and rehabilitation of indigenous marine and terrestrial biodiversity of the section, including assisting with planning and implementation of control of alien/extralimital species and monitoring of key functions and processes.
- Manage fire in the section both as a tool for conservation purposes and to reduce risk to SANParks and neighbouring properties.
- Manage the impact of degradation on cultural heritage resources and provide input into the Cultural Heritage plan.
- Monitor the implementation of the Environmental Management Plans and ensure compliance.
- Ensure adequate control of visitor activities, and safety and security.
- Ensure all infrastructure in the section is maintained to adequate standards.
- Ensure the enforcement of good corporate governance and proactive risk management.
- Ensure the protection of the conservation estate and territorial integrity by enforcing compliance with the relevant conservation legislations.
- Manage the human capital of the section.
- Give input and assist in the management of the budget and asset control
- Develop and maintain purposeful relationships with key stakeholders

Description:
The Organisation requires the services of a Senior Manager: CRM and Loyalty in the Tourism and Marketing Division. This position will be based at Groenkloof, Pretoria.
Requirements:
- Be in a possession of a Commercial, Marketing, Economics, IT or related field degree.
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience managing CRM and Loyalty programmes and an expert understanding of customer behaviour.
- Demonstrable ability to analyse data, monitor and evaluate processes, as well as manage budgets.
- Have a proven track record of utilising technological customer insights and analytics tools and marketing automation software to deliver improved revenue, sales and client retention.
- Experience in managing people and projects in a complex environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic input into the CRM and Loyalty Strategy
- Develop and Implement the CRM and Loyalty Business Plan
- Manage the SANParks CRM and Loyalty programme to deliver improved revenue, sales and client retention
- Drive the 360-degree CRM engagement strategies to maximise customer lifetime value
- Forecast, manage and analyse programme performance metrics and institute improvement interventions
- Optimise revenue opportunities and grow the programme through optimised benefits to the customer
- Conduct regular research and data mining to report on trends and advise on the utilisation of the outcomes
- Customize Loyalty offerings for individual customers using new CRM technologies and marketing instruments
- Develop a customer segmentation strategy that drives brand affinity and loyalty through effective customer engagement
- Develop strategic advantage through partnerships with internal & external partners
- Compile operational budget in line with the SANParks budgeting guidelines
- Compile HR plans and staffing requirements and ensure staff are appropriately recruited, trained, appraised, and rewarded.

- Development and prepare Learning programmes for areas of responsibility for Parks.

- Coordinate the training needs assessments for consolidation into the WSP/ATR.
