Description:
A vacancy exists for two Contract Managers in the Kruger National Park on a fixed-term contract basis for a period of two (2) years.

Requirements:
  • BSc/B-Tech or National diploma in the Built Environment
  • At least 8 years post-qualification extensive appropriate experience in the built environment of which 4 years in a Project/Contract management position and Contract administration
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Project
  • Sound financial management knowledge
  • Registration with any of built environment Professional council will be added advantage
  • Proven track record and a Valid code EB Drivers licence
  • Sound knowledge of infrastructure procurement procedures and policies
  • Sound knowledge of the OHSACT and Construction Regulations
 

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure sound project and contract management of IDP program projects relating to Corporate Infrastructure upgrading, Renovations and new works programs
  • Administration of contracts in terms of the JBCC and GCC form of contracts
  • Ensure compliance with OHSACT and Construction regulations
  • Management of contracts and contractors as per conditions of contract
  • Management of quantity surveying, consultants and internal staff as required
  • Compilation of infrastructure maintenance and renovation works budgets
  • Project Financial management and reporting
  • Quality Assurance and compliance with specifications

Salary: R 538 315 - R 882 581
