The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is looking for highly motivated scientists to conduct systematics research on the South African flora in accordance with the SANBI Research Strategy. This position requires a Master’s degree in Botany or equivalent qualification with NQF 9. A postgraduate qualification in Botany or equivalent qualification at NQF 10 will be an added advantage. This position also requires 2 years’ experience in relevant field.

SCIENTIST: ANIMAL SPECIES INFORMATION
The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is looking for highly motivated scientist to lead collation and curation of foundational animal data in-line with SANBI’s mandate. This position requires a PhD degree in Zoology, Entomology or equivalent qualification at NQF 10. This position also requires 4 years of work experience in foundational animal science (animal taxonomy), foundational data collection and management, and project management.
