The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) requires an efficient and enthusiastic person to render a productive service to all SANBI employees with regards to the implementation of Supply Chain Management Policy, which consists of processes, systems and procedures as illustrated in the PFMA and related legislations.
 
The successful candidate must be in possession of a three year National diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent qualification with NQF 7, enhanced by 3 years’ relevant experience in the field of Supply Chain Management.
 
The candidate should have some experience in procurement systems would be an advantage, Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, Report writing, People management skills, Supply Chain Management, Valid Code B driver’s license and willing to travel.
 
 
Key responsibilities
  • Assist to manage terms of reference process
  • Assist to manage tender briefing process
  • Assist to manage tender evaluation process
  • Provide assistance to manage governance, risk, and compliance
  • Assist in human capital development, change management and transformation
