The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) requires the services of an enthusiastic, responsible person to process payroll information accurately and on time in terms of prescripts.
Prospective applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 qualification with 2 years’ relevant experience in a payroll environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to maintain sound interpersonal relations, and have an excellent spoken and written command of English. The successful candidate must have the ability to meet deadlines, pay attention to detail and a high level of accuracy; be able to work independently and within a team, also have excellent administration and organisational skills, numerical skills and computer proficiency in MS Office. Experience working on PERSAL or VIP Payroll systems would be an added advantage.
The responsibilities include:
- Data capturing on PERSAL and VIP payroll systems;
- Completing salaries related administrative duties;
- The processing of salary payments;
Ad hoc duties as required in the Payroll department
SANBI offers an annual all-inclusive salary of R237 973.11
