Role Mandate
Provide procurement administration support to user departments regarding procurement of goods and services.

Key Accountabilities
Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents
  • Ensure that quotations are well received from service providers and obtain necessary approvals
  • Respond to end-user enquiries relating to their procurement requests
  • Prepare and maintain procurement files for audit purposes
  • Follow-up on all purchase orders status and obtain estimated lead time from suppliers
  • Ensure the delivery notes/invoice is signed and verified against the quotations and purchase order
  • Follow-up and expedite outstanding deliveries
  • Submit copies of GRVs to Finance department
  • File copies of GRVs
  • Issue GRVs for maintenance orders
  • Verify complete work against received invoices
  • Ensure all documents are submitted to facilitate timeous payment of vendors
  • Check for correct job codes & tariffs and submit it for approval and file documentation
  • Develop close relationship with key service providers by offering forward planning with open and honest discussions
 
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma in SCM/ Finance/Logistics (NQF 6) qualification
  • Degree in SCM/ Finance/Logistics (NQF 7) qualification – will be an added advantage
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in the Procurement of Goods & Service, Supply Chain Management or Finance administration
  • Work experience on any ERP System
  • Valid Driver’s License - will be an added advantage
