Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
 To maintain the SACAA Quality Management System (QMS) and periodically audit the conformance of the SACAA business units to the QMS to ensure that they are meeting the defined QMS standards.
 
MAINTAIN THE SACAA QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS)
  • Develop and maintain QMS documents: typing, layout, format, pagination, database compilation, editing, review (amendments) and maintenance, revision control and status, draw complex diagrams, attachments, scanning and converting documents.
  • Develop, implement and validate quality standards, processes and procedures within the SACAA in accordance with the SACAA QMS based on ISO 9001.
  • Provide SACAA QMS training (induction and refresher) to all staff to increase awareness and understanding.
  • Ensure that all company processes and procedures include process controls based on segregation rules and requirements.
  • Assist staff with any queries in respect of the QMS.
  • Regularly update the BarnOwl system with the latest audit information. 
MONITOR COMPLIANCE WITH QUALITY STANDARDS
  • To audit the business unit’s conformance for conformance with SACAA QMS, by:
    • Auditing that all standards, processes and procedures have been documented and the adherence of all SACAA staff a to the requirements, standards, processes and procedures.
    • Ensuring that any corrective and follow up actions addresses findings in full.
    • Collecting data on corrective and preventive action and analyse trends to improve QMS.
    • Tracking and following up on outstanding corrective actions to verify closure based on objective evidence.
    • Submitting statistical activity reports to the M: QA.
PROMOTE CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • Develop implement and maintain a continuous improvement mechanism which is in line with the international standard.
  • Promote the quality management system and continuous improvement through training, workshops and mentoring.
DEVELOPMENT OF QMS TEMPLATES
  • Develop organisational templates for: policy, procedures, work Instructions (including TGM and MOPs), forms and checklists and other pertinent documents.
  • Enhance QMS documents: typesetting, incorporate external (national/international) and internal formatting requirements, consult and disseminate information into new/amended requirements and control external and internal formatting requirements.
RISK IDENTIFICATION
  • Relevant risks are identified at an operational level utilising appropriate tools and techniques taking cognisance of changes in the risk environment.
  • Report on identified risks and inform the EWRM function accordingly.
  • Assist Risk Specialists to develop mitigation plan to address identified risks.
DESIGN AND REDESIGN OF PROCESSES (BPR)
  • Design and Redesign of Processes (BPR) within the SACAA to improve SACAA business process efficacy (efficiency and effectiveness).
  • Ensure optimum internal and external processes resulting in customer service excellence both within the organisation and to our external clients.
 
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
  • A National Diploma in Quality Management or a related qualification at an NQF 6 level
 
Ideal Qualification:
  • A Degree in Quality Management or a related qualification at an NQF 7 level
 
Experience:
  • 2 years Quality Management or Quality Assurance and/or Business Process Redesign 
  •  Risk Management and Aviation experience would be advantageous

INTERNAL AUDITOR (ICT AND COMPLIANCE) (MIDRAND)

Description
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
  • The Internal Auditor (ICT and Compliance) conducts assigned internal audit engagements and special ad hoc projects under the supervision of the Senior Internal Auditor in accordance with the risk based internal audit plan. 
Internal Audit Project Planning
  • Participate by making inputs to the preparation and development of the Audit Project Plan.
  • Conduct preliminary survey on allocated audit engagements. a break-down in a control for understanding the business environment and all aspects of the audit area with respect to information flows, policies and procedures.
  • Interview personnel of audit area to obtain relevant audit information.
  • Draft system description and / or flowchart:
    Identify key controls within the audit area.
    Identify critical control points in a system flowchart
    Compile a control gap analysis identifying audit objectives, risks and controls.
Internal Audit Execution/Audit Testing
  • Utilities audit software and data analytical tools to enhance efficiencies in the audit process.
  • Provide independent, innovative, cost-effective, and value-added business processes and internal control reviews to ensure good corporate governance.
  • Execute audits in accordance with the approved audit methodology, internal audit plan and standards.
  • Performs audit reviews focusing on ICT general and application control reviews, ICT governance, System Development Life Cycle, Disaster recovery, ICT architecture etc.
  • Performs audit reviews focusing on compliance management with the SACAA environment.
  • Documents test results on working papers and concludes all working papers and ensures working papers are aligned to auditing standards and unit's methodology.
  • Develop and/or review audit program and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
  • Extrapolate (if need be) impact of error on sampled population.
  • Obtain and/or review evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well documented and ensure audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risks.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring using CAATs.
Reporting
  • Compile exceptions based on working papers, test results and conclusions and submit to the Senior Internal Auditor for review.
  • Prepare a draft report based on the results of the audit based on evaluation of client responses to draft audit findings and make the necessary adjustments.
Follow-Up on Findings
  • Perform relevant follow-up of previous audit findings.
  • Gather evidence to support the conclusion reached for follow-ups.
Quality Assurance
  • Prepared all manual and electronic files/working papers in line with the audit methodology.
  • Ensures that all audits are conducted within the agreed budget, hours and timeframes.
 
Requirements
Minimum Qualification: 
  • NQF Level 7 qualification i.e., Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Bachelor of Technology in Audit or ICT or equivalent.
Ideal:
  • Must hold or be studying towards a CISA.
  • A registered member with the appropriate professional body (IIA SA and ISACA)
Experience:
  • 5 years Information Systems Audit experience

Overall Purpose of the Job
  • The post holder will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions, web applications, custom software solutions, and automate business processes using the Microsoft technology stack.
Systems Development 
  • Develop, configure and maintain SharePoint solutions by leveraging SharePoint configuration tools and writing custom code using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
  • Develop custom software solutions using C# programming language and .NET framework.

  • Build and modify wed applications using the required Web Application Languages
  • Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements.

  • Oversee service providers who provides web applications development services.

  • Debug software for client applications to ensure that it is fit for purpose.

Liaison and Coordination

System Maintenance and Support
  • Investigate and resolve application issues within the agreed SLA
    Respond to system issues, end-user queries and maintenance requests.

  • Plan and implement software version upgrade in line with software releases roadmap
  • Review website interface and software stability.
  • Maintain, support, and improve web applications.

Requirements
  • Minimum Requirement
National Diploma in IT or related qualification 
  • Ideal
IT related Degree and certification in any of Microsoft Power Platforms and SharePoint Development
  • Experience
5 Years - SharePoint Configuration
The following will also be an added advantage:
JavaScript, HTML5, SQL Server, CSS3 and extensive knowledge of Power Platforms and popular front-end frameworks (React).
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in SharePoint development, web development, C# programming, ASP.NET and .NET Frameworks, business process automation, business solution delivery, system maintenance, and support. Furthermore, they should have experience in developing PowerApps Applications and Power Automate Workflows.

Stores and Asset Management
  • Ensure that proper procedures are followed when departments and other offices require stock (Request for stationery attached)
  • Receiving, issuing, and processing of goods taken from stores and consolidate documentation for record purposes
  • Replenish stock as and when required, ensure that there is sufficient stock in stores at all times and monitor the standards set in them
  • Ensure that stock-takings are coordinated monthly
  • Report on monthly stock variances
  • Allocate serial numbers to all fixed assets purchased
 
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
  • Grade 12
 
Ideal Qualification:
  • Post Matric qualification.
