MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To facilitate the provision of appropriate technology transfer through structured support and funding for small enterprises nationally
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
❖ Assess small enterprises for the benefit of TTF
❖ Develop business cases to adjudication panel
❖ Administer the technology transfer fund nationally
❖ Establish and maintain accurate database
❖ Verification of supplied technology received at the client premises
❖ Contribute to the review of TTF policy and processes
❖ Conduct impact analysis on the technology intervention on beneficiaries
❖ Conduct TTF awareness workshops
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
❖ Matric ( NQF Level 4) and National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in in Commerce/ Technology/ Science/ and or Engineering
❖ Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Commerce or Engineering or in Commerce/ Technology/ Science/ and or Engineering as added advantage
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
4-6 years’ experience in the following:
❖ SMME development
❖ Technology driven environment
❖ Field of technology transfer and technology needs assessment
❖ Assessment of viability and sustainability of small enterprises
❖ Thorough understanding of science and technology sector

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide effective administrative support to the Quality and Standards as well as Technology Transfer Unit.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
❖ Coordinate Procurement and Finance Functions in the Unit.
❖ Implement and maintain an effective filing system.
❖ Project Administration for the unit.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Matric (NQF Level 4) and Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Office Administration
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
❖ 2-3 years’ experience preferably in an operational environment.
❖ Well skilled in MS Office.
❖ Knowledge of accounting systems would be advantageous
❖ Understanding of financial principles
❖ Understanding of procurement principles
❖ Understanding of project management principles
